I watched this movie called The Gift. It's a suspense thriller. I thought there was a supernatural element to it, but it's a reality-grounded revenge-based potboiler. Stars Jason Bateman, Rebecca Hall and Joel Edgerton. It's from a few years ago and pretty good.

Saw that a bit ago. It was a Joel Edgerton passion project. He wrote, directed and produced it. I thought it was really well done.

Watching Bass Reeves......I thought it would be better . After 3 episodes there has not been much action . LMAO.....then again I just finished up watching Deadwood......and it had a lot of everything albeit quite unbelievable at times . It was entertaining .

Watching any western right after watching Deadwood is a BIG mistake -- nothing measures up.

I'm currently watching the first episode and struggling to get through it.
 
My sister is getting married in March, I told her we should prank her fiancé and I’ll walk down the beach (destination wedding) in a wedding dress then rip up a fake deed

Just finished 4th episode: the show was conceived (and written) as a biographical series -- not an action series. I agree that it should be better.

I also enjoyed 1 and 2. 3 just seemed to meander along and the writing was so-so. It also seemed they were turning Jack into an action figure ala Bourne. I felt episodes 7 and 8 were unnecessary and could have been included in the previous 6. Season 4 felt like they were trying to cram a lot of stuff in since they knew it was going to be the last season.

I got the same take - enjoyed seasons 1 and 2 and then was really dissatisfied with 3 and only was able to get through a couple of episodes in season 4 before I switched to something else and have no interest in coming back to it.

Funny you should say that about 4 -- I got through the first 3 episodes....I started the 4th and realized I hadn't a clue as to what was going on. I thought of going back and rewatching eps 1-3, but decided against it.

Reacher was very good....can't wait for second season.

Maybe that's why I don't remember anything that happened....I know I saw it and that I liked it, but beyond that: blank slate.

I find that with so many series these days ...you watch and then forget LOL . I'm on the hunt for a good one for the holidays when we slow down at work and the time off . I can't stay upstairs in plain sight LOL.....have to get out of the missus's sight or else it will be vacuum duties or whatever .
