I liked Antony Starr from The Boys as the private contractor. That was unexpected.I also didn’t pay enough attention through one watching to recall why they would have ditched the JG’s radio but they didn’t need to get 100 miles on foot, they just needed to get back within signal range. The target was ~100 clicks out and they had comms when JG called it in. When they fled from the Taliban they lost signal range in the truck. They couldn’t have gone more than 10 miles. In theory they should have been back within comms range by the time they made it to that house.
Regardless of things that didn’t make perfect sense, it was the way it was filmed, the quality of the relationship, the message of perseverance and honoring promises and the quality of the acting that made it very enjoyable for me.
