Feel free to **** off any time now, Rask.

I shared that same sentiment prior to yesterday's game and I certainly would keep going with Dobby until he loses but just not entirely convinced he can get it done . Hopefully, Dobby keeps winning but if he loses and loses in Rask like fashion maybe you give Rask a chance to get his **** together and step up . If he doesn't feel a tad jealous as a result of Dobbie getting a wn in an important game then he isn't human . He should be itching to get back in there .

I agree with you that Dobby deserves the next start, although I'm also not convinced he can do the job.

On the plus side, he seems to be getting more zoned-in as the season progresses, while Rask seems to be getting zoned-out!

Would you move Rask and Pastrnak for Carey Price this summer if you knew you could resign Price for the next 8 years at 8.0 million?

Not a chance as far as I'm concerned. Pasta has to stay a Bruin for at least a couple more years.

Although I'd love to have Price in net for the B's for the next 8 years, it would all depend who we'd have to give up.

How about Rask and Backes and some draft picks for Price???...and do the habs owe us any compensation for Claude?

Hell baby
No offense but..

Its this kind of thinking that will keep the Bruins collapsing for years to come....

Yeah thinking that a guy who's at risk of ******** his pants and major dehydration shouldn't play in a meaningful game is the kind of thinking of that will lead to collapse. I mean there is no way that players performance could possibly be compromised right?

No offense but that's a dumb take. I'm using common sense. Anybody else thinking he should have played last year is irrational if you understand the toll playing goalie in the NHL takes on the human body.

Now I'm not going to pretend to know what's going on right now but I do know that Rask is playing poorly at the moment and if he's not physically confident then I don't want him out there...because you know, he's playing ****** as is. Maybe the ****tiness of late is related to what he asked out for, maybe it's mental. But I don't want him out there if he thinks he's physically compromised because they can barely keep their head above water with him playing the way he was without the aggravated tweak or whatever it was

Death glares when goals are scored

Has anyone else notice that Rask glares at whomever is at fault for the turnovee/match up issues after every goal? There's been numerous times during interviews where he eludes to others play for the reason for goals. I also remember there being a time hearing that he was yelling at one of his dmen during the game which Ferraro pointed out as being unhealthy.

Everytime i see this I cringe . I remember Thomas did it too but would always smile after he calmed down. Anyone else seem to be noticing this more and more

I think his last game is the only time I have ever heard him take the blame for, having a bad game,he usually blames the rest Of the team.

Not by design, and certainly not by choice, the Bruins have a goaltending situation on their hands with only seven games remaining in their regular season.

Tuukka Rask is hurting, and to what degree no one in the know is saying. He is expected to participate in Monday’s practice. The smart money — in a sport where dumb luck can win Cups — is that he will be back in net Tuesday night when the Predators visit the Garden.

He is, afterall, the $7 million-a-year franchise goalie, and this is money time. The Bruins will need Rask healthy and sharp if they are to avoid a third consecutive postseason DNQ.

I think you play Khudobin until he loses a game for you. Rask showed what he's made of and I think this is a great opportunity for the coach to stamp his imprint on the team. You pull up "lame" in the biggest game of the year for the second year in a row and you deserve to be cast out.

I agree with this, but I will say Rask should now bring his A game. Not sure if he will.

Is it just me or looking back do the Bruins always seem to play harder for whomever the other goalie is not named Rask. Could be me making something up though.

I've thought it for a couple seasons now.

Not sure if it's just knowing you need to play tighter in front of a back up or anything more than that.

I've been noticing that for a few years. The first thing he does when a goal gets by him is, he throws his arms up in there and then glares at the team. When he's gone next year(I'm hoping that happens) I bet you will have players saying how they had issues with that clown.

From what I recall over the last 3 seasons is it was hard to win any game while a back-up was in net. Only Dobby in the last 5 has been successful for any length of time.

Careful what you wish for.
How the rest of the season goes will have an impact on if he is dealt.
If they do deal him they better have two goalies capable of winning at least 20 games each.

Rask should never wear the uniform again. Put him on IR and bring up Zane. I don't care if he is by far the best goalie on the roster this dude quit once again on his team when the chips were down. Now all of a sudden he's the first one to show up at practice since he doesn't have to deal with the pressure of breaking a losing streak? BS. Listen talent is great and all but reliability trumps talent in most cases. Tuukka has proved two years in a row that he taps out during adversity.

Where do you get this he quit from.? Does that mean the GM quit not fixing defence now over 2 years? Course not. .If you think Dobby is better then Rask your crazy .

I'm sorry but either Rask is the unluckiest player in the world (all 4 main sports) by things such as him ******** himself or a LBI right before huge games OR there is something else. Rask apologists in general are the worst. The dude is supremely talented. You can't take that away from him. BUT what good is that if you cannot rely on him? He needs out of Boston in the worst way and needs to go to a market like Arizona or Vegas where no one will criticize him. He's a mental train wreck.

I just said he's the best goalie on the roster. I'm sorry but in the last two seasons Rask hasn't been available for the two biggest games. Either it's a weird coincidence or he quit. I'm going with he quit. What does Sweeney not doing his job have anything to do with Rask willingly not putting on the pads and staying home?

I'm starting wonder if the rumor he has crohns disease is true. The symptoms certainly fit, as well as the organization's in ability to be more specific and the things they are saying. Stress/adrenaline CAN cause an episode and other than $hitting yourself in front of the world, there's nothing you can do to stop it from happening.

I am the biggest advocate for trading Rask and have been for three years now and remain so and hope to god this summer it happens. finally!!

But to say he quit on the team is a bit far fetched. Last year he got the flu, sucks but it happens. We have all had the stomach flu and you can barely walk let alone play goalie. If Rask was injured Saturday fine he was injured let's move on. Don't judge Rask on things he can't control,

Judge him on his play and his play alone

You guys are unbelievable, seriously. Some of the stuff being thrown about here is nothing short of ridiculous.

That game against the Islanders, that wasn't a big game. The Islanders stink. That should be an automatic back up game. As for last year, the Bruins put themselves in a position where they had to win a game late and no one got up for it.

Had once of the many back ups used been able to actually win a game Rask would not have been worked so much during the season.

- Subban 0-1-0 5.81GAA
- Zane 0-4-1 3.96GAA
- Dobby 6-5-1 2.60GAA (had 1 win in all of 2016)

They rode Rask until the wheels feel off and now they are paying for it.

Uh, what? The team you were/are most directly fighting for the last playoff spot against with less than 10 games to go in the season isn't a big deal?

Well sir to that I say this: I do not agree with that sentiment.
