I seriously need to install a trail cam in my back yard lol. Tonight I went out to put some boxes in my car and there were 7 (!!!!) deer all laying in the leaf pile under the trees in my back yard. They just looked at me, not spooked at all.

Read the other day where there are 81 deer per square mile in my neck of the woods. I believe it.
It's a lot of fun seeing all the critters
Coyote, red fox, raccoon, turkey,possum,deer

We have deer galore, squirrels, skunks :skeptic:.... there's also a woodpecker, hawks, and my neighbor said an owl shows up sometimes too, haven't seen him yet.

Next Monday is Veteran's Day. Wanna thank a Veteran? Get off your asses and vote. If you already have, thank you. You don't need to let me know.

Talk is cheap, actions speak louder than words. PLEASE do not turn this into a political discussion on who to vote for. Just freakin' vote your conscience.

Apologies to the mods if this crossed the line....

I am not a veteran. But I have military in my family, going back to World War II. Navy, Marines, Army. A friend and some I work with have served.

I can only imagine what it means to be a veteran.

"Freedom" isn't free.

Some give - some gave - all.

*Thank you.*

John Bonham seems like he was a normal, level-headed, rational kind of guy.

Many consider John Bonham the greatest rock drummer ever. Perhaps justly.

No expert (I was a lead vocalist for many years and went to Berklee in the early '90s; fine with "Ear Training," hopeless with sight reading & "Harmony" 1-4).

However, I have to side with Keefe in his assessment of bombastic Bonzo's style.

Relative to rock 'n roll & pop (Big Band & Jazz are another kettle of fish), my two favorite drummers could not be more different, each ensconced at opposite ends of the spectrum.

The Who's Keith Moon, my all time favorite, at one extreme.

Neil Peart of Rush at the other.

Of course, there are a million great skin masters in between, including Ringo (yes), Cream's Ginger Baker, John Densmore of the Doors, long time Bowie percussionist Dennis Davis, the Rolling Stones' Charlie Watts, and Stewart Copeland of The Police.

Personal favorites.

And that's just off the top of my head.

If I could learn one musical instrument, it would be the drums,

*Rolling Stone magazine's "Greatest This, Greatest That" rankings are Old White Guy purblind, lamely "controversial," and dubious at best.

FWIW,
