I love how parts of every fanbase think the NHL has at times rigged games against them.

This was not rigged game. Edvidsson was both tripped (slew footed) and high sticked.
There was made contact twice to his foot, therefore he lost the balance.

Also Eds head was a primary point of contact by a CBJ player, he should been ejected from the game. Suspension should be incoming.

All this because the NHL want a 'good story' and big profits after the death of a player. Sickening!

Not to mention it’s Columbus on their soil.
God forbid they lose and upset a franchise who’s fans hasn’t seen their team win a cup nor an outdoor game.

The more this sinks in the more logical it feels.

Sports isn’t the same anymore. Also, enough with Johnny Hockey. It’s shitty and frustrating they continue to use his death as focal points for profit.

The whole thing just irks me. The only redeeming quality about the whole game is that this team wore those sexy jerseys.

I don't think the games are rigged, but I do understand the thinking at times when the blown call is so egregious that a rigged game almost seems more plausible than an NHL ref being that incompetent.

There is no rigging being done. Bad calls screw every team over at some point and it was our turn this time. It sucks, but the NHL doesn't gain any money or fame from CBJ winning an outdoor game.

Shouldn't have lost based on how they played, it happens. The way they played didn't make me think they are about to repeat last years finish. Just unfortunate. Go out there and put another little streak together and let's get ready for some April in the D.

Put Elvis in our net and Cam in theirs and keep the other parts of the game the same and Wings win going away. No doubt in my mind Elvis won that game for them. Our goalies are mid-level for what seems forever.

Do you actually believe that league execs and the refs got together before the game and had a meeting about how if possible to make sure Columbus wins?
