At least Melnick did briefly mention Nilan before signing off tonight and said he understands some people being angry over the situation, but said it really wasn't on TSN690. He mentioned how much Nilan meant to him and wished Nilan well and said he has no doubt Nilan will land on his feet and be fine. Here's hoping Mitch.

Agreed. Unfortunately, given the people they like to hire, the station's leadership group will no doubt think PJ is way too qualified for the position.

The there would’ve been no issues for a medical doctor to provide reasoning towards an exemption, and there would’ve been 0% chance Bell would’ve canned him for not being fully vaccinated as they wouldn’t want to to chance a lawsuit they would outright lose

Sure, but the reality is that you don't know that. You also don't know if the station ignored his request for exemption. You don't know if has already been exposed earlier & has immunity, making the injections unnecessary. The basis for the mandate is also false. Unvaccinated or vaccinated, you are able to transmit. So to call him a danger to others is just a baseless lie, since you know the have they are all vaxxed. In addition, with omicron being the dominant variant, serious illness is much less likely. Pushing mandates is just wrong, as now Ireland, UK, France, Switzerland, Italy, Finland, etc are dropping it along with restrictions.
