I hope I don’t regret this, but here goes nothing:
WPG gets: Jonas Brodin, Gustav Nyquist, Ryan Sproul
MIN gets: Riley Sheahan, Alexander Burmistrov
DET gets: Jacob Trouba, Andrew Copp
- Detroit moves out nearly $7M in cap (enough to sign Trouba?), and gets another Michigan kid to replace Sheahan as a bottom-6 center.
- Minnesota gets depth at center, with virtually no change in cap.
- Winnipeg get a top 4 LHD to (eventually) replace Enstrom, a RHD prospect to add to the pipeline, and a solid top-6 RW to push Stafford down to the third line while clearing up some of their logjam at forward. They bring in almost $9M in cap, but send out $2.5M – assuming Trouba was going to get around $6M would make the trade cap-neutral.
