hahahaha what??

holy cow, trouba just became the most overrated player on this board. with no contract hes worth close to sydney crosby!

Crosby likely fetches quite a bit more than Beaulieu + McCarron + 1st round pick.

It's been discussed in the Jets boards, and yes some posters do have this "inside" information, whether you'd like to believe it or not.

I have inside information that he wants to at for McLellan and McDavid and that's why his trade request and refusal to report came after team NA was eliminated.

Okay so you think as a LHD that Beauliue has the same value as Trouba, Yeah No and Winnipeg has zero use for McCarron and since the Montreal 1st rounder will be in the 20's most likely ask me how this package is good for Winnipeg. There's tons of better LHD out there that Cheveldayoff will try to pry for Trouba. And i bet you Beaulieu isn't one of them.

dude trouba has no contract, dont act like he's a top pair Dman has we speak, if winnipeg had the chance to even get Beaulieu AND McCarron they would literally jump on that asap. we'll talk about it when the trade is done. i dont even want trouba on the habs unless petry is part of the deal and it woulnt make sense for winnipeg, i dont even know why Montreal in the the rumors to aquire him, all i know it trouba is a decent two-way Dman, but hes value, is being overrated like never.

This thread should be thinking who wants to pay him 6mil to play 1st pair Allstar slot D.

******** ask.

His hometown Detroit Red Wings would. Maybe not necessarily $6 million but maybe around $5.5 million per long term in which is fair value for him the Seth Jones deal which was what $5.4 million for 6 years or so.

Yeah No, This isn't even close to value for Trouba.
Trouba is more valuable the Beaulieu but he is nowhere near MacCarron + 1st better then Beaulieu.

As a Red Wings fan i would do this in a heartbeat. And maybe this would be the kind of deal that both Cheveldayoff and Holland would consider.

Maybe you should keep your 1sts and latest draft picks instead.

Okay dude as me? Where's Trouba fit on the right side of Montreal when you already have Weber and Petry already on the rightside just like Winnipeg so once again Trouba would be playing the leftside in Montreal the very reason why he wants out so why would h get dealt to Montreal to be in the exact same boat he wouldn't.

Streit, but he has a NTC. So MacDonald.

We actually have $1m in space but CF for some strange reason have put an AHL guy as the 24th man on our roster.

and which of provorov/sanheim do you part with to unload that albatross contract?

wow do you even read dude, i said the exact same thing in my last sentence you just quoted. that theres no room for trouba in montreal whats up with you?

I would be very surprised if Trouba wouldn't give the Wings a very nice hometown discount. I think they could sign him for $5m or less.

Bottom line just like Winnipeg Montreal has Weber and Petry on the rightside over Trouba so unless you plan on playing Petry on his offhand side how does acquiring Trouba who's most likely going to play the left side help his situation.

Cute. Doesn't change facts, though.

Exactly. So don't spread rumours about 'inside information' that can not be backed up with a source.

Trouba will play for whatever team his is traded to and can provide him top ice time on the right side.

less? yeah right

I think he would. The only reason he wants so much money is because it's Winnipeg. We won't give it to him. I bet if Detroit asked him to take 5 or less and a deal was ready to be made he wouldn't turn it down.

It's pretty tough to back up inside information with a source unless you want to out your source. Which isn't a smart idea if you want to keep getting information.
