Went to sleep specialist yesterday. I'm going to have a home sleep study- insurance will not pay for hospital test because I don't have other, underlying health issues that might be causing it such as asthma, COPD etc.

Then I went to see my GP. My blood pressure is much better, finally down to 130/85. He said I was very lucky not to have had a stroke when I had heat exhaustion/dehydration because at one point my BP was 270/90. It's taken awhile to get it back down and I will definitely be making a stronger effort to keep it that way.
270/90 ?!?!!

Glad you are getting things checked out.

I really need to see my HR person. I have been treated not so nice last few weeks.

for example I exit the bathroom yesterday and see a supervisor 50 feet away hands in his pocket staring at me.

later I was questioned about my bathroom activities. Sounds illegal. Can I not shit in peace?
There could be multiple reasons why you were asked and you really need to talk to the supervisor professionally to ask why you are being questioned.

Not every interaction with a supervisor is them being out to get you or treating you poorly.

If you decide to go to HR, you need to have concrete examples of your claims.

Outside of this, employee relations isn't my area of expertise. I'm on the research, operations and data side of things.

AHI down to 1.3 last night. Home study said I was at least at 29+. Five nights so far and I am feeling a little better every day. :)

awesome numbers.
My original test was 47.0 and blood oxygen level was 89.0.
Real bad.
Plus a wife that hadnt got a nights sleep in over a decade.
Now I consistently average < 3.0 and she says I havent snored in over a year.
I sleep deeper. Longer. No headaches anymore. Not lethargic.
Should have done it sooner.

Good for you!

thanks.
She’s doing ‘ok’.
But now has something weird with her lymph node near her breast. They did a needle biopsy that came back negative but her team still doesnt like the size of it. She’s going for more tests the 28th and gene mapping on the 1st.

We hope for the best. She’s already been through enough.

With my blood pressure meds my bp is normally 140/145 over 85. It spiked at 270/90 and stayed that way almost a week, it just wouldn't go down.

Now I've ramped up walking again, haven't missed a day in 2 weeks. I let it (and a lot of other things ) slide during the lockdowns and I paid for it.
