i have hammered 6 mugs of hot chocolate in the last 3 days. The second the sun sets and it drops to the 50’s I’m like well I guess I need hot chocolate, I have no choice

I just got off the phone with a friend who I have known since 1985 (actually talked to his wife)
He has Early Onset Alzheimer’s and now he doesn't know who I am. I am devastated.

My oldest saw the new Halloween “Halloween Kills” told her mom and I it was good. I knew it was gonna suck cuz the last few have. Basically no story and Michael kills everyone.

yep. He knew in the beginning but then it was tougher on the rest of us. He left this earth in Oct 2003.

Technical, but a warning against Win11 upgrade
TLR - Don't Upgrade Yet
Slows down non-Intel processor PCs.
I have learned from bitter experience not to upgrade to a new OS when it first comes out because there are always bugs to be worked out. Fool me once.....

I think it is harder on the family & friends of someone with a terminal illness. I'm not saying the person who is ill does not suffer, they absolutely do & sometimes terribly.
But watching someone you love slowly die without being able to do a damned thing about it is pure agony. The feeling of helplessness can be overwhelming.
My heart goes out to everyone who has experienced it or is experiencing it.
