 Yeah me too

I'm "done commenting on him" too, just putting the fact out there that they had a 3-1 lead in the playoffs with him, didn't win a game without him and decided he was their best option to be in the lineup "when it mattered most" in game 7.

But again, I'm "done commenting on him"

I missed all those PO contributions from #11 in his 9 PO games putting up 0-0-0
and 0 goals in 16 AHL\NHL PO games, yup that screams clutch to me...lol.

Unfortunately for you and Frederic it is what it is and as Bruins Dust pointed out its 3 years in a row. He is an ok RS player, who appears to have a track record of not being
able to adapt to the pace of the PO to assure his spot in the line up, on a team that
has won one out three PO series in the last three years.

I don't think that's an over the top or harsh evaluation of the guy.

And if you think about Frederic's arguably biggest weakness (his first few strides), it makes sense that pace of play would be a bigger issue for him come playoff time.

It's a major reason I'd like to see him back in the middle. He'd be less stationary and forced to move his feet more often. We see the same thing with Coyle when comparing him to the wing vs. center so I'm not picking on Frederic here.

When its mattered most #11 has put up 0 goals in 16 NHL\AHL PO Games.
Probably explains his catching bench.

hilarious bc some really wanted to Frederic to get paid but this is reality
Still think it's a tad high, personally.

Fair deal for both sides. Hopefully he can build on his season from last year and hit 20 goals this year.
Based on a career high shooting percentage last year, I don't think it will happen. Hopefully it does, but it's a long shot.

Little less than what I expected but it’s a two year deal so he probably gave a little in salary for another year. Thought it would have been closer to 3 if it was a 1 year deal. At least they’ll fit currently under the cap as I expect Swayman would be 3 to 3.5 mil. Puts the team close to the cap though and more so if Krejci comes back. Got to wonder if that is what the hold up is with Krejci announcing a deal or retiring. Cap space.

I figured it would between 1.75 and 2.25 on a one-year deal. Came out slightly over the high end but it's for two years so that is to be expected. Fair deal for both sides. Frederic will be a UFA after this deal ends.

3.2 million basically left for Swayman.

It’s closer to $4 mill as the Bruins are carrying 8 defensemen via capfriendly.

He had a good season, sell high, fair 2 year deal. GMs will like this deal.

If Swayman's deal comes in closer to $4 mil. Something will have to give.

Is it possible the deal was reached in advance knowing a trade is in place?
He is one of the only pieces with positive value across the league ....
