It's fairly obvious as to what he was doing in the news conference last night - he was passive-aggressively throwing shade as his goaltender without openly doing it. He talks about how well the rest of the team played, which is true, while steadfastly refusing to address the elephant in the room. I felt a little badly for Green, TBH - he has been saddled with a backup in Forsberg whom he can't trust, and who clearly isn't an NHL calibre goaltender most nights. Dude is a Pierre Dorion special, a waiver wire pickup who, after having some very modest success in a year we didn't even make the playoffs, got rewarded with a three year extension at about double what other NHL backups are making.
