Not with all the existing one-way contracts the Jackets have in place currently. Abramov is too small and might never be big enough. Think Tyler Johnson or Martin St.Louis. Only recently did Cam Atkinson find his way.

Any chance that's the fourth line this year?

I don't think there is. Milano and PLD aren't going to be "wasted" on the 4th line. And Abramov isn't near ready. His career trajectory will *hopefully* be like Atkinson or Bjorkstrand.

If PLD is going to be on the 4th line, they should send him back to Cape Breton. If Milano is going to be on the 4th line, he should be back in Cleveland.

Cam Atkinson was drafted in the 6th round - 157 OA in June of 2008.

In the 13-14 season he played 79 NHL games; his first full season. If you think that 5 seasons from the time of his draft until establishing himself is "taking the league by storm" (my words-not yours), then fine, go ahead and think that. In my opinion 5 full hockey seasons before establishing yourself, for a 5' 8" - 180 lb forward would be considered "recently finding his way", 8 full years after he was drafted.

A applaud Cam Atkinson for making the most of his opportunity. I applaud the CBJ for having patience with him. The vast majority of 6th round guys barely get an NHL cup of coffee. Certainly the CBJ could get way more than a 6th round pick for him now.

My point was that Atkinson was not an overnight success. I hope that Abramov has a similar career trajectory.

FS GO is live only. Very frustrating for me, especially in regards to not being able to watch Aussie Rules on demand.

What are you talking about? You said Cam just recently found his way. Meaning, he just started being good. That is not true.

To the tune of the Platters' "Twilight Time" (for those who don't know the song, the song from the Skyline Chili ad is based on it).

The Jackets are on the ice again, it's Traverse time
Even though it's only the prospects, it's Traverse time
The offseason has now come to an end
The pucksters are back, it's Traverse time

sorry, this has been running through my head since seeing the thread title

Already 1-0. Icing two FA invite goalies could be our Achilles' heel this tournament.

Sherwood makes it 1-1.

First to 20 wins.
