You only need to take a look at the barn in which these are played and you can see why this is not the 'tournament' to review the only pro in the team no more than the previous one right after the draft. That is one horrible drop in competitive sense.

I'm hoping Dubois is going to be the player the Jackets project him to be. Glad to hear he had a noticeable first effort in the tournament.
So far, it sounds like his transition from LW to C has been pretty seamless.
I hope so. Passing up on Paajarvi was huge. One scout felt that he was the most talented player in the entire draft, including over Laine and Matthews.

I think they thought that with the third overall pick you could do better than selecting the next Pääjärvi, perhaps more familiarly known as the Young Ermine in these parts of the HFboards.

Unless he has a severe drinking problem, Puljujarvi is going to be really good. We knew that before the draft.

The question is if PLD is going to be good or if we accidentally drafted another 2nd/3rd liner at 3 overall.

After this loss Peressini put his ass at the bench till end of the tournament. FA invite? We have affiliate team in beer league? I never heard.

You said he just recently found his way. Was last year his first good year? If not, he didn't just recently find his way. Now, if you want to say it took him a while to find his way, fine. I disagree, but that is your opinion. That is completely different than just finding his way though.
