the little I saw of 1st and 2nd, seemed to me like Fs were floating and not playing very hard...
I think it was the 2nd Chi goal...it was like magnet puck...all of our guys were in one corner it seemed and 1 blackhawk got free and in the middle of ice 1 on 1 with Brodeur

I didn't say they were unfixable, I said they have no luck (and it was mainly prompted by news of injuries).

Det beat us head to head...first tie breaker...that's why we needed STL to win or at least put it into OT

To be fair, the first two Ranger goals likely happened because I looked away for a second.
I didn't get to watch any of the games, but from what I gather this is exactly what I wanted to hear/see from Dubois. Not exactly "dominant" but he played well throughout the entire tournament. Consistency seems to be his thing. He's gonna need a solid training camp and preseason to make the opening night roster. If he can play his physical two way game and contribute some points, I don't see why he won't make the team likely on the 3rd line.

That's definitely what you're going to get, he consistently plays well and you know exactly what you're gonna get at the bare minimum every night with him (with the possibility to explode for like 4 points performance in the Q anyway), that is why I personally feel like in a few years he's going to be a consistent 70+ two way center in the Bergeron-esque mold. He's just too smart on the ice to not make an impact, legitimately the first thing I noticed in his 16 year old season was his positioning and stick checking reminds me of Bergeron (likely because im a Bruins fan and have seen hundreds of the little things Bergeron does during the course of a game).
I think PLD will be on the Blue Jackets this year and earn his way up the line up, because well that's just the type of person he is, but I'd love to be able to see him in CB for another year.
