In case anyone is interested, this is the latest policy on attending games.
Yep da rest of $$$ comes onto CC in early October once MLSE gets full 100% crowd approval for its plan from Ontario .. I hope da vaccination proof is on game day at turnstile so we can sell our tickets to anyone whether or not vaccinated .. no one has asked me if I am vaccinated yet?

I can't seem to find a box score/ who played well for us?
As much as you can take out of the first game Steves, Robertson, Douglas played well. I also liked Hellickson and Hoffenmyer. Robertson is a a cut above the rest.

That's pretty cool that they all showed up this early, are they allowed to have skill coaches with them? That would go hella far for some of the young guys and guys like soup to get that shooting percentage up!
No idea .. I have not been to a hockey rink in a long long time due to COVID .. I have had it so likely prone to getting it again so best bet for me is to stay away this season .. plus I really can't see this CAP hit ever working here until Mitch or JT is moved .. half CAP tied up in 4 guys it just does not work unfortunately with skill sets of those 4 guys .. but I am told you can drive down to Ford and watch .. at least that's what I heard from my buddy who works on their MLSE health team .. rink is packed with people

compared to the first game, this looks like a team of completely different players. crazy what getting back into game shape does.

though it helps that cbj is sitting their best players lol

2-0-2 in Traverse:

Standout:
  • Robertson
  • SDA (last two games mostly)
Quietly Impressive:
  • Douglas (PPG)
  • Villeneuve
  • McKenna
  • Hoefenmayer
  • Scott
  • Chyzowski
Meh:
  • Abramov
  • Kressler
  • Gogolev
  • Duszak
Underwhelming:
  • Petruzzeli
  • Voit
  • Hardy

FA guys - Kressler had some positive moments once promoted to the top line but didn't impact the game much. Hardie was almost invisible and very low effort. The rest were irrelevant in the games they played. I thought Pare was actually a really effective F1; great skating, physical, underrated hands. He's 22 with pro experience so it's to be expected, but he should be a depth piece on an AHL checking line with PK ability.

Most of the signings from last summer looked improved and were quietly effective (esp Hoefenmayer and McKenna). Expected more from Gogolev, uneventful tourney but his skating looks less laboured than last year.

Scott was the best goalie. Petruzzeli's last game was a blowout, couldn't stop a puck.

Yeah for me:

Clearly NHL stuff:

1. Robertson

Guys that looked consistentky better than expected and might actually be prospects:

1. Douglas
2. McKenna
3. Scott
4. Villeneuve

The rest of the guys we consider to be legit prospects were all hit and miss imo. I would say I like Gogolev's game the best of them, SDA came on after a slow start, Abramov was fairly invisible.

i've seen a lot of people disappointed with SDA and abramov, but they were the 2 leading scorers among forwards in the tournament for the team (aided by 3 points each today, but still)

just a reminder that it's just a rookie tournament and also the first couple games were the first time in months that they've played organized hockey. those games don't matter, and conclusions should never be made from them.

Felt like Dubas didn’t say a whole lot there

He basically confirmed that Mik asked for a trade.

He basically confirmed that other teams called on the top players, but the offers weren't good enough to make moves, and that he'd be open to moving players, if the deals made the team better.

Did a decent Lou impression but let you read in between the lines.

Only thing I am still uncomfortable about is that Rielly is likely going to walk to UFA.
