Does it matter? Its moot, he is not a leaf anymore
It matters if we're comparing the "no depth" leafs to the "super deep" Panthers.
Marincin no longer in the system.

Very true but keep in mind those 6 teams (actually 5 because he didn't have to face McDavid and Drai on the PP) are the only teams we faced. It's very easy to have skewed stats. Pasta Stamkos Kuch Ovechkin Mackinnon etc etc can regress your stats very quick even though the average PP you face will be around the middle mark. So for example that average ~16 includes having to face some elite PPs whereas the ~19 is ONLY 19 calibre PPs.
Also have to assume the bad PPs will sometimes light you up since perfection is impossible so accumulate that altogether and I think most people will take the regression bet.
Okay I am a bit more happier now. Basically unless Dermott steps it up soon, Liljegren will take his spot. Personally that same logic should apply to Sandin too, but I'll take it.
i think i am leaning that way as well ... seems more engaged
Talk about an overreaction. Holy moly. This is terrible evaluation of talent by the coaching staff IMO
on what grounds has sandin shown "more consistency" compared to dermott?
- sandin has been allowed more leeway in terms of making mistakes and still not being held accountable while this has not been afforded to both demott and Lily
without accountability and playing favourites is a recipe for toxic locker room
Mikheyev got a golden opportunity because he complained, not because he showed us anything imo.i think i am leaning that way as well ... seems more engaged
oh no, freddy is gonna be mad!!! lol who caressssss.
reading that reminded me of this lol:
Locker room should be all business this year after that playoff, I’m sure Keefe gives a rat’s ass about feelings. This is terrible evaluation of talent by the coaching staff IMO

dermott has 208 games in the league, sandin has 29, lily 13. so ye, one of these things is not like the others. but sandin definitely has been given more leeway than lily. dermott should be a separate coversation though. This is terrible evaluation of talent by the coaching staff IMO

What is the split going to be like between Campbell and Mrazek

Brooks on waivers still. Surprising
Seems Amadio/Semyonov will get a chance over Brooks.
And he earned a roster spot. With the pre-season over, just want to give props to an excellent pre-season from Amadio. Not only did he look great out there, his stats are off the charts:
Out of the 582 forwards to play at least 20 5v5 minutes in the pre-season:
TOI: 41:16
CF%: 76.80 (3rd out of 582)
SF%: 88.13: (1st out of 582)
xGF%: 83.29 (1st out of 582)
GF%: 100.00 (3-0)
Not sure his skating is up to par with NHL standards but he's certainly thrown himself into the mix with his smarts/hands/vision
Strange
And he earned a roster spot.
