I would Hyman McDavid Leon.
That line would be like a modern Stevens Lemieiux Jagr.
But its better to sprrad the wealth, but without a 3rd wheel that sinks the line. MacLeod, Puljujärvi is what I want to fill in top 6. Holloway and Yamamoto in bottom 6.
I would sign Virtanen as a 4th liner. Even though I dont like his deamenor.

If I recall, I believe he played at RW at times back when he was in the world juniors. I think he was moved there to add forechecking and defensive conscience to the Byfield line.

I would prefer th Torres-Torres-Torres line personally. Would buy center ice immediately and watch every game.

I don't really feel like sending them to Calgary on Wednesday but I also want better hockey than the game last night in Seattle.

They won’t play until Friday at home is my guess

Sounds like most guys are only going to play 3 games.

Then usually the last couple games you want close to a starting lineup as possible, so I guess they maybe start getting scattered the next couple games.

Top three positive standouts for me so far this preseason:

1.) Dylan Holloway (surprise, surprise)
2.) Tyler Benson
3.) Ryan Fanti's mask

Question in regards to the cap. Could this team not do whatever they need to get under the cap in day 1. Holloway/Broberg on roster for bonuses. One of Malone/McKegg. Waive Foegele. 12 Forwards. 7 Dman. 2 Goalies. 21 man roster?

Then once they are under the cap after day 1. Recall Foegele. Send Malone to AHL. Send 7th Dman to AHL. Run a 20 man roster. 12 Forwards. 6 Defense. 2 Goaltenders.

It wouldnt be ideal obviously but then they could play Foegele + Janmark + Ryan.

If Broberg or Nemo dont outplay Murray, maybe they both just get sent to the AHL. If one of them outplay Murray, then Murray gets sent to the AHL.

I think they would be under the cap with a 20 man roster?

Also wouldnt be surprised if someone gets injured during training camp to give them time to figure out their cap.

Yes basically they can and probably will do exactly what you've said. That said for situations where they have back to backs coming up they might want to go with 7D just in case.

Anybody else miss Rexall where you could just go, park your car for free and watch any of the scrimmages most days?

Now its DT. Driving through construction zones, non stop pylons, looking out for cycle lanes and drugged out people staggering into road and finding a parking spot somewhere for 15-20bucks and then trying to find the best path to Rogers with the least amount of trouble.

Nah, these days with the DT arena you just say forget it. Even if they do open it up to public it requires e tickets. you used to be able to just walk in. Even free popcorn and drink. Now the same experience would cost 40bucks and aggravation and registering and downloading e ticket.

I would kind of like RNH tried in the top 6.

But thats probably exactly what will happen when they throw Drai out with McDavid for the odd shift.....or RNH-McD-Drai...plus PP and PK.....I just wonder if he'd play well on the RW there.
