Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. That's probably fair. He's been fine for the most part, he looked awful early but has been better lately, especially in terms of hitting/fighting. I'd be fine keeping him around the same cap hit. 7 goals in 63 games is not great, but a lot of assists.

It’s a nice thought, but culling together a supporting cast on a shoestring budget hasn’t worked thus far, and personally I don’t think it will ever work, two of the four core have got to go, and the only way that happens is if you lose JT and Marner for nothing. JT for free okay, Marner not so much……..Defense. Toffoli?
It'll be the off-season trades tbh that'll be game changers IMO or a true judgement on our current GM. A lot of trades sometimes require more time to...mature and likely might need some space to breathe.
I'm not so sure, I think Domi really wants the long-term deal here and we could possibly buy down the cap hit.

The real question is why anyone would want to continue being part of this gong show, is it like a geographical thing?
Friedman reported domi wants to be a leaf for life. Sick of being traded. I think he would trade dollars for security
I mean there's lifers out there that stick with perpetual losers like Buffal, Ottawa, Arizona, Anaheim etc etc.
Why have you stuck with this team?
I think Domi stays for a good price and at least 3 to 4 years.

Bertuzzi has saved his season. I don't know though... 5 is still tough to do and he'll get that from somewhere else. I'm guessing he leaves and a younger guy comes in to play his spot.

I think we should try and sign Chandler Stephenson. If we can sign him to a reasonable contract, he should be our top priority in target forward.

I think Lindolm is too rich for us, even with the cap space. I can see us signing Stephenson for $4-5M.
I don’t disagree I like chandler.
I think lindholm will get like 7x7. He’s on back to back 50-60pt paces

Unless they come SUPER cheap, I don’t love the idea of re-signing Domi/Bertuzzi.
I think we should spend a lot less on forwards next year and a lot more on defence.

I can see us going hard for Montour because of what Treliving tried to do with the Klingberg signing.
Leafs HAVE to start conversations with Tavares about waiving the NMC. At worst he says no.

I truly hope so, because the last time he negotiated it...it was not a pleasant experience. Definitely would love it!/Open to it.
I think Roy is going to re-up with the kings tbh. I hope I am wrong and he hits UFA. I love that guy.
