There's not many Kawhi type of player even in NBA. Dude is true alpha. Calm, composure and just has a control over his role and function

Closest person I can think of in NHL is maybe Crosby. Crosby always seems to be in control of the play. Not the best player in the game but there's that aura around him

O'Connor has been playing with Crosby last I checked. He's got a lot of speed.

He's got another year on his contract at sub 1M... I doubt they have interest in letting him go. But I would 100% be all over him if he was.

less than three hours to go for brad to make a move. otherwise we're at point, where his biggest trade acquisition in almost a year would be Edmundson....
 
There are plenty of playoff teams that got significantly better, except the Leafs. The Western Canadian teams are looking good, the cup might come home.

Boston also got Maroon, preparing for one of their handful of opportunities they will be granted to injure Leafs players without penalty or suspension.

Have they made any moves? Feels like they've been really quiet for a bad team. Granted I think Roslovic is their only UFA.

Peeke + Kuraly would fill some holes for us (though with Edmundson/Boosh, Peeke probably wouldn't fit at this point unless we're moving someone out).

It would be a start, but when have they ever done that?

Marner will continue to play the point, too scared of the front of the net
Matthews will continue to shy away from contact and be half the offensive player he normally is
Nylander will continue to be invisible and score goals in blowout games and in garbage time whilst being raved about as the “best” of the three
Tavares.

Compare their play styles to eichel, tkachuk, verhaeghe, marchessault, hintz, kucherov, Mackinnon, rantanen, Mcdavid, draisaitl and it’s not hard to see differences in their guys vs ours

In most of our series’s you can’t tell who the 11+ million dollar players are
