Kunin would be the perfect addition to counter Maroon.
Anything and anyone to get away from Kampf. LIke anyone

I don't agree!
What about the past playoffs performance tells you Leafs are contenders?
What about our goalies' performance this season tells you Leafs are contenders?
What about Matthews, Marner and Nylander not being able to do much when time and space is taken away from then and they keep playing perimeter hockey tells you Leafs are contenders?
On top of that you have Tavares at 11 AAV still on the cap; a significantly declining asset.
Sometimes you just have to take a step back and re-evaluate to take 10 steps forward. This is the time to take the step back and let Tavares' contract run its course and Retool!
As that song goes...
"You gotta know when to hold em, know when to fold em' know when to walk away know when to run"![]()
I don't disagree at all. It's a balance though. We need to also be able to move the puck and get out of the defensive zone with the puck.
Robbie, Kampf and Holmberg to Dubas for Pettersson.Anything and anyone to get away from Kampf. LIke anyone
Vancouver and Winnipeg were a mess last year and here we are, and the Leafs are the same old same old, losers. We deserve better yet some think we should be bowing down and praising God for what the 3 amighosts do in the regular season.
Lol at Pat Maroon being the difference in anything a fat over the hill scrub who just had back surgeryMaroon is the nail in the coffin, my over/under on playoff game wins is now 2.5
Drop to WC1 and face whoever on top of the Metro division. Problem solved.Maroon is the nail in the coffin, my over/under on playoff game wins is now 2.5
It will come as a big surprise to many people that toughness isn't evidenced by the willingness to fight to shove a guy after a whistle. Being able to do that stuff is basic table stakes, but teams win because their star players play better than other teams star players. Just look at any recent Cup champion and that is the "formula":
Vegas
Colorado
Tampa
Chicago
etc.
So far I am liking today. Treliving hasn't thrown our 1st rounder for a rental. Don't do it Brad. DO NOT DO IT!!!
Then start overBecause you just don't know. Who thought that Boston would go out in the first round last year? This is hockey, wierd shit happens single spring.
We're locked into this core, you have to go all in every year, or you might as well just start over and trade them all.

You're asking so many questions that are just loaded without any sort of logical thinking. But they aren't wrong.
Ovechkin was 33 years old when he first won his cup with many years of heartbreak. Panthers were 1 point away from being eliminated last year and made it to the finals. Sometimes you just gotta keep digging and hoping the right time falls into place. Maybe it never will.
But we do suck and nothing will ever go right. Might as well just blow it up.
Clearly the Bruins are loading up after last night. Hopefully Tre answers back with something more up front.So...Maroon is back in the Atlantic.
All the more reason to put interesting/entertaining talent on the show.Well at least International Women's Day is only once a year, shame it fell on Trade Deadline Day.
Oh look......Malcolm Subban to the Jackets for Future considerations..............let's get into that
Ovi was 33 years old when he won the cup because he changed the way he played the game. Plenty of quotes from Ovi himself and Trotz for that matter.
Florida played nasty hockey and got amazing goal tending from Bob.
what about Matthews, Marner and Nylander have you seen in post season that tells you they are playing different hockey that would lead to positive outcomes? On top of that we are not getting above avg goal tending either. We have a rookie goalie and samsonov.
Any manager in any field has to be prudent and take calculated risks given the circumstances he faces relative to his own framework and his competitors.
By no means are Leafs contenders in my calculations given their history and current team outlook especially from the high AAV players
I am expecting Treliving to add a forward of _________ significance.Clearly the Bruins are loading up after last night. Hopefully Tre answers back with something more up front.
Imagine if the Caps had given up on 26 year old Ovechkin?
Imagine Ovi didn't change the way he played to win the cup. plenty of quotes from him. One google search would prove this
