Who knows... with the way Keefe rotated people around. Thornton from top line to 4th line... Sandin in then out... dermott in... double shifting Matthews and Marner
I bet it gets pretty hard for the players to any rhythm going. Meanwhile the successful teams are rolling 4 lines.
I'm really not sure it's the players or the coaching/management. It was like last season when Robertson was pulled for a rusty Johnsson in the elimination game.
I think the black eye for Keefe is 2 playoffs in a row they lost while being the favorite. The second in a row a team has lined up in the neutral zone/opposing blueline that he hasn't been able to find a counter.
He also never tried breaking up Marner and putting 88 there. He did break up a good Galchenyuk-Kerfoot-88 line after we went up 3-1 in the series to put an injured Foligno in Kerfoot's place.
