Dumba, Edmundson, Savard, none of these guys jump out as difference makers. Savard especially I don't see the appeal, his defensive numbers are terrible and the Leafs would need to trade a 1st to get him? No thanks. Well shit.

100% but like I said, many do not like him but I think he can be better than what we have on our right side. If he sucks, he walks and you did not pay alot for him. Parayko and his contract is risky. Savard might cost you a 1st. What realistic options are out there?

There aren't many
Roll the dice on Peeke? A bunch of bottom pair at best types

I think you could get Provorov, I doubt the front office want that headache though

That is it, there aren't many good targets with term and we have little assets as it stands. Imagine trading a 1st and Minten knowing you have no first next year and no seconds for the next 3 years. Dubas f***ed this team of draft picks royally.

Haha. Could you imagine if the Kraken made that trade?

Seattle has gone on record as saying they don't want to trade any of the guys with term, but you've gotta think with a pretty old roster, that you've gotta keep an open mind.

Robertson would fit nicely within some of the young pieces they do have. Minten, maybe not ideal given his similar development position to Shane Wright.

I've gotta beleive that if the Leafs came to the table with Robertson, Timmins & their 1st round pick, that should get you close.

I don't know if I would do Robertson, Liljegren & a 1st; but Seattle's going to have another pick or two come in by virtue of Eberle & Tatar. Maybe you do something along the lines of

Robertson, Liljegren, Toronto's 1st for Larsson, New York's 2nd this year, and Seattle's 3rd next year.

No seconds hurts, those are the picks you miss when you're looking to add but aren't spending like a drunken sailor

Last years deadline with ROR and Schenn is looking a lot better then this seasons deadline.

Hardly surprising, we used our assets last season, once those picks are gone there gone
They could have got Tanev if they wanted, they refused to pay a 1st and now we're left with a bunch of garbage. I'd rather give up a 1st and a prospect for a legitimate need in Tanev over giving away mid round picks for no solution.

We have limited assets as it is, get rid of that first and things get grim pretty quickly
