Never happen, if there’s one player I want from the Yotes it’s Lawson Crouse……..
What's your offer.
Kampf, Holmberg, 1st. round pick?
or
Kampf, Robertson, 1st. round pick?

I wish.Leafs should look into trading Marner for Keller. Marner is going to be renegotiating his contract soon and will likely be looking for around 12-12.5M. Keller only makes 7.15M for 4 more years. 5M in cap savings there could go a real long way to building a stanley cup defense
The rules for Kampf apply to all the other players.
If a good deal can be made to upgrade the team, and it fits with the direction of the team, trade away.
MTL would want a 2nd for Savard at 50% to us.I have to admit, I still think David Savard at 50% retention has the potential to be a good fit here. Price would have to be right though.
Perry would have been a nice add in that McMann spot.
When all is said and done, I hope only one of Holmberg, McMann or Robertson are playing regularly in the playoffs. Need to add some functional grit in that bottom 6. Acciari was great last year. Maybe Bjustad is someone that they look at with some size at centre (push Domi to the wing).
I saw someone mention Bjustad and Dumba earlier in the thread. Would be a low end cost move that could add some depth and grit.
Kampf is okayy, but an inefficient use of the cap. It would be nice if Toronto could replicate something like the Pavel Zacha experiment in Boston where you take a chronically underperforming Top 10 pick and you do the whole reclamation song and dance. Plug him into a 3C role and hopefully they blossom into a Top 6. We have to be smarter as an organization and plant seeds for long term solutions instead of this short term bet mentality.
Not a centerman, but Kappo Kakko, Oliver Wahlstrom, etc. maybe take a flyer on a bottom six guy like that.
He would be a good add, but I’m not sure Bjugstad would be particularly low cost. He should be in higher demand than Sean Monahan, who just returned a 1st.
We should have traded nylander for keller when they had the chanceLeafs should look into trading Marner for Keller. What’s inefficient about investing in a shut-down centre who can lead a PK unit? That’s an important role on any contender.
Calgary just claimed RD Pachal from Vegas. No secret Calgary is in a trade now mode, might mean Tanev is moving soon Calgary's top RD:
Andersson ($4.55 till 2025-26 - Treliving signing) Rating 87 P1
Weegar ($6.25 till 2030-31 - Treliving signing) Rating 83 P2
Tanev ($4.5 expires this year - Treliving signing) Rating 83 P2
Pysysk (minors league min- Conroy signing) Depth
For context on ratings Morgan is rated as a P2 84. P1 is first pair, P2 is second pair, P3 is 3rd pair.

I compare Kampf to a Morgan Geekie and Boston's getting a ton more two way mileage out of a cheaper UFA signing with size.

The shut down centre is crap.
Vegas just has 4 lines and their job is to go out and be better than the line across from them.
Dubas tried to build the team with low event defensive guys to buy time for the big guys to go back out.

Don't want to open up a Keller vs Marner line of argumentation but what I like more about Keller's play style is it's a cleaner puck carrying style, efficient playmaking, executing skill plays with speed, with some more scoring upside. He looks like a kid who grew up watching Patrick Kane. It's a less fussy, slow it down style than Marner.
I would gladly take Weegar off Calgary’s hands
the list of sub 3m c's that can thrive in shutdown minutes with a non defensive pto and a tweener ahler is not long.

And does what exactly?For forwards:
He gets 9th. most ES TOI/g.
We might not like it but he's getting 3rd. line minutes at even strength, and most SH TOI/g.
Couple of months? He's done nothing productive since Engvall leftHe’s had a rough couple of months, but it doesn’t help that Keefe has no idea how to deploy him. You can’t anchor him with the worst linemates and the toughest assignments. Who the hell can succeed in those circumstances?
Marner is the better player. I'm not adverse to trading Mitchy but he should get more than Keller back. Get the Coyotes to throw a few of their dozen 2nd. round picks in.Marner is the better player. I'm not adverse to trading Mitchy but he should get more than Keller back. IMHO
Andersson?
Yeah, that ain't happening but it would be nice.
LD Rielly - RD Andersson
LD McCabe - RD Liljegren
LD Benoit - LD Brodie
