We have our “superstars”, i imagine we will be able to get wingers to fill the roster as we go, even if it’s older cheap guys that just want to win
I am desperate to have a rock star defence though
that allows us to only need an average to good goalie and give attack time and more confidence to score
Defence is good, Brodie came in and helped and bogo also even though initially I got scared but I’m very curious to see how things go in this next season
we’re stuck In This until the tavares deal runs out
IMO Bogo at 1m has been a rock star and his game is PO style hockey

Unfortunately, it would be very hard for Dubas to upgrade on Andersen even if he wanted to. Not many great upgrades up for grabs and nobody really wants him. Andersen is extremely close to many of the core players... so I don't think it would go over well.

Well , we would have a 1.8m cap hit Ekholm all next season also,,,so ya , i do
and who knows,,,maybe we find a way to keep him after that
BUT it's a moot point if we don't get our tending figured out
i can wait till close to the TD to make a move on Ekholm

LTIR him and let him hang around as a minimum wage consultant if his teammates need him as a security blanket. Watching your good buddy screw the team over every night can't be much better than him moving away.

Even though I said I have no problem letting young guys go now in order to win I have a hard time letting them go before we see what they can do In The nhl... some of those moves can really come back and kick u In the jewels
Believe it or not, a player has to have an actual injury AND agree to sit out for that to be possible.
I highly doubt Andersen would agree to miss the rest of the season, in a contract year, with a team as good as this one.
No thanks. Liljegren is young, controllable, and will likely be a top 4 D in his own right.
Ekholm is good but if that's the price I pass.

Apparently his groin is injured enough that he's regressed to below Sparks level. How much money do you think he's earning per .780%? He would have gotten more money in FA if he sat out this year and seemed like he could be worth a gamble rather than confirming everyone's worst fears.

Imo, he is more important to the core than Nylander, who I think is great btw. If we move out Kerfoot we might have enough but we'd be once again looking at min wage guys to fill in some spots.

I wonder if re-acquiring Bernier would be an option to tandem with Campbell and save some cap if Freddy goes the other way to save Detroit salary. He's played pretty well on some bad Red Wings teams.

They are just like media. Not apart of the bubble. Aren’t allowed lower than the upper bowl. So they go in a door, immediately up the stairs to the top, and into their respective area.
I believe they get rapid tested and temp checked before entry.
