Feels like we need help on the left in the bottom 6. I dont mind Pulj, but we should be set on the rightPuljujarvi would be a real nice addition now. Would be a huge upgrade on Aston Reese.
Acciari - Kampf - Puljujarvi
Probably one of the best shutdown lines IMO.
I have a funny feeling the Leafs will find a way to keep Holmberg in the lineup. We'll see. Not sure Holmberg will be thrilled to go back to the Marlies full time, he's been playing really well.
Dregs trying his hardest to get viewers for the deadline day show.
It would be fun to see Dubas make another splash though. First time I've see Kerfoots name really thrown out there like that since the off-season.
I like the player but there's definitely a lot of frustration there.
Come on Dubbie! Complete the other half....this lineup would be a nightmare ti play against.Bertuzzi + ROR would be savvvy adds...if we could make the cap work and not lose Knies.
Bertuzzi-Matthews-Nylander
Bunting-Tavares-Marner
Knies-ROR-Jarnkrok
Zar-Kampf-Holmberg
Is playoff ready...
My spidey senses says Bunting finds a home with ROR and Knies has some Rookie legs in the playoffs
The D is fine.

ZAR hits a lot and PKs well though so right now, I don't see it.
Hits are nice, but they are never really big impact hits. Might be wrong, but I rarely see any impact from him on the ice.
Yeah I was about to mention this. I really don't think we need to make a move on the backend and it seemed like we dont have that many pieces to make another move. But in re analyzing, why did we need to make minny take on the extra 25% and send them a 4th? We would not give away a 4th for no reason. With our current salary structure we dont really need that extra 25% off RORs contract. Yes it gives us more space to have more guys on the roster but we could easily run a 22 man roster even without Minnesota's retention. Maybe its that they expect Muzzin could come back or maybe its because we want to make another move.Jfresh has posted something along the lines of O'Reilly's point totals being affected by linemates who have been unable to bury their scoring opportunities. I know he's a bit of a whipping boy around here, unjustifiably so to some extent, but that sounds a lot like Alex Kerfoot.
The retention on the O'Reilly deal does seem to suggest management may take a swing at another play.
ROR and Acciari is a nice start but the team still needs more. Another bonafide scoring threat up front would be ideal, who that player is or what the cost would be I don't know.
Would love to see Kerfoot and/or Engvall moved for similarly salaried player that plays nasty. Someone like Greenway or the younger Foligno. Not saying they are available but someone like that.
The team got tougher with this move. Lets do more.
If they do I could see a Kerfoot for Soucy swap making senseI feel like they'll try to take a swing at the defense for the next move. Seems fairly set upfront. Who and what? I don't know. McCabe maybe? Doubtful.

McCabe or Schenn type addition would make sense.I feel like they'll try to take a swing at the defense for the next move. Seems fairly set upfront. Who and what? I don't know. McCabe maybe? Doubtful.
McCabe is an upgrade, but im not convinced Schenn is a significant jump on BennMcCabe or Schenn type addition would make sense.
Retention isn't freeIf Toronto is the only destination Kane is willing to be moved, you’re not getting top value anyways. Kerfoot + Ty Voit or Fraser Minten might get it done with Chicago flipping Kerfoot for that draft pick.
It pisses me off that Benn isn't given more looks, but Holl still exists.McCabe is an upgrade, but im not convinced Schenn is a significant jump on Benn
I'd like to see him get a shot at the #2 LW spot ...his defensive game can make up for a lot of the deficiencies if Marner moves up and its Tavares-NylanderI'd keep Holmberg over ZAR. Smarter player.
Without a lot of draft assets left to make any splash for a 2nd line winger or top 4 D man, do we concentrate on a depth add for defense now? Still lack that heavy PK d man. If Muzzin ever returned to form we’d be laughing, but not looking like that’s happening.
Might have to wait for a last minute sell off on deadline day deal, where some team is going be stuck because they asked too much for a Schenn or Myers. Nick Jensen would be my target if the Caps fall out of playoff contention. I don’t know what their plans are for him but he has been good defensively the last few years and has put up 20 points this season as well.
Nick Jensen
