I’d like a tough winger also but kerfoot hasn’t been a bad playoff performer for us. I like the depth we’ve got now and he is pretty versatile, I’m a little torn with him

Bertuzzi would be very interesting. Not sure it works anymore but that's probably the only forward that would be an upgrade over quite a few forwards.

I think capfriendly says we have 4.4 mil of cap to spend but Murrays cap hit is 4.6 and it's looking like he'll be close to come back so I assume that's where that extra cap space will go. I might be wrong since I don't know everything about the cap or how LTIR works tbh.

With Benn and Woll demoted and Murray off LTIR you're looking at about $1.3M in room. Money probably has to go out for a meaningful addition. Leafs also only have 4/9 of their top 90 picks so they're running out of ammo.

Still think the Leafs can put together a decent package for something else even without trading a top prospects. Still a good number of B grade assets.

-Hirvonen as a logical starting piece
-a top youngish Marlie F (Anderson/Steeves/Abruzzese/SDA)
-boom or bust F prospect (Voit, Ovchinnikov, Miettinen)
-one of the Russian goalies perhaps (Akhtyamov/Peksa)
-2024 Picks in Round 4-7

It's a quantity package that won't net top quality, but if you let a team just pick any 3-4 pieces there is no reason why some other useful addition couldn't be had from that.

Swap Acciari and Engvall for chemistry reasons.
Engvall knows how to play with Kampf already and Acciari and ROR should at least be familiar with each other.

I still wouldn't mind a JVR, Bertuzzi or Max Domi.

If you think Jarnkork can stay at 2nd line LW, get Domi

if not get Bertuzzi or JVR

or go back to the Blues and get Barbashev.

I LOVE this trade but I still want to see 1 more forward. because I think Kerfoot is replaceable.

I wouldn't be thrilled with Kerfoot there but that's a complete forward group, as of right now it's ALOT better no question but I do feel like it needs 1 more piece, doesn't have to be a big piece, we got the big piece but we need 1 more piece up front.

I really like the idea of ROR as 3C. That being said Noel Acciari is a center so I think its leaning towards ROR as 2LW right now.

Seems pretty solid. Kinda a bit of a waste using ROR on the wing considering his faceoff and defensive ability but he will probably be better off offensively on the wing. Moving JT to the wing instead seems not really necessary, I think ROR and him are similar in playstyle defensively and are both pretty slow up the middle.

Don't like the Sandin for McCabe suggestions, makes no sense to me.
I think we may add LW, not sure at what level, Bertuzzi is who I would like of the names being floated out there.
