Its hilarious that the bruins and Tampa have been so dominant last few years yet they have cap space and are in on so many players at the deadline where leafs are dying up upgrade but they can’t because they have no room
Toronto has plenty of cap space. We would have about 3.5M going to a 22 man roster more if we take it down to 20 or 21 or trade out more expensive players to make space

Tampa has 700k in cap space and I haven't heard them be in on anyone.

Boston has 2 mill in cap space and practically no attractive assets outside of Lysell and some picks... And Lysell is not even all that attractive of an asset. Their pool is one of the worst in the league, and I am not even sure they have the assets to get Chychrun unless they trade roster players.

Don’t think Tampa is able to do anything. They had to dump Palat and McDonagh while taking on nothing this past summer and traded their upcoming 1sts for Hagel.

Are you kidding me? Did you even bother to look it up?

They have less room than the Leafs. LOL
All I hear by the tv experts is Boston are in on this guy, Tampa is in on this guy

Very quiet in leaf land

Only room we have is if Muzzin retires I believe yes?

We were never getting him lol.

Dubas comments seem pretty obvious. He'll get a few ppl but he's not breaking the bank. He just never goes all out. It's been years. Leafs are what they are.

They have to figure out their shit.

Marner, Matthews, Nylander, Tavares.

Win a f***ing round.

At least I can spend the rest of the weekend trying to figure out where Chyc will go and then frustrate myself wondering if the Leafs could or should have made a better offer.

If it's not us LA or the Oilers who is it you think?

I wouldn't mind grabbing the Russian kid out of NY but I'd imagine he's a better fit on a rebuilding team

Pretty much confirmed at this point, just waiting for the Brown ceremony to be done so they don't overshadow it

Yeah not sure we have time for reclamation projects like him at this point.

And it is not even like he has shown many flashes of brilliance either. He is just not good. Sucked in the AHL. Sucked in the NHL. Was mediocre at best in the KHL and the WJC for the most part... And he is a pure offensive guy without any other kind of redeemable factor to fall back on. If he is not scoring, which he has not, then he is a liability.
