Holl + Kerfoot + 1st (Boston) for Bertuzzi?

Too much? Not enough?
UFAs have no value to Detroit except as filler to replace Bert in the lineup. That still too much for the year he has had although if he medically checks out and they can get past the Covid thing I would do the 1st. If not then not a chance.

His Corsi and Fenwick are good, even this season and he might go for less than people expect with his warts, real or perceived. I would trust the club to do the appropriate due diligence but the upside is significant.

Why are people talking about what it could cost the Leafs to get Chychrun? Did the Leafs even want him? I’m under the impression that he is more of an offensive d-man while the Leafs were looking for a more physical d-man who could clear players out of the crease. I think McCabe fits what they are looking for better.

Yes, I want Wilson to the Pens. Pens last dance against the historical best team in the NHL in the first round

Now I will need to watch the deadline show to get a refresher on where the hell everyone is.

Every hour there is a new tradr. Sometimes less. I can't keep up

This TDL is awesome.
Yeah its weird. Kind of like many Leaf draft days in the last 20 years but it keeps going :) . I don't remember anything like this but I like it. I just hope the goaltending doesn't let them down but that's every team every year thinking that.

Keefe has said that he will eventually have the #3C's on their own lines. If so, I would try this.

Bunting - Matthews - Marner
Kerfoot - O'Reilly - Nylander
Jarnkrok - Tavares - Acciari
ZAR - Kampf - Lafferty
He might mean next year (;

Hextall has to be one of the worst GMs out there. And that's saying something in this NHL.

No one really has to go we need depth for a playoff run.
Timmins can sit and get some experience watching a team go on a playoff run.
Gustafsson can get in a few games but is mostly insurance against Rielly’s health. The other 7 guys are the regulars.
After the deadline the rosters expand and we can recall a forward to have depth there.

We'll see I guess. But imo Gustafsson has too many points this season for them as an asset to just get a couple games here and there and I don't think he's slotting ahead of the main 7 with the Leafs. Which is why I won't blink if he's traded again by Friday

I bet this is the first day you've ever heard of him .
I am not going to pretend I watch Lafferty and Eyssimont play all the time but the fact that both played on tanking teams while one actually is a regular and the other played like 20 games is enough for me to say Lafferty is the better player for now. Bc if you can’t even be a regular on a tanking team, thats not saying much.

Eyssimont has been a regular since he was picked up by San Jose.
