Nice attempt at humour, but well off the mark.Dumping Kerfoot will be an improvement to the team since we don’t need to worry about his bonehead plays in the playoffs.

Considering he is the most expensive 4th liner in the league, he better be driving that line, lol. That assumes Holmberg continues to drastically outperform his underlying numbers (which are subpar), maintains a 20% SH%, and Holmberg can be a strong PKer all the while handling far more defensive responsibility while Kerfoot, who is a 12% career shooter, continues to shoot at below 7%.
The dropoff could easily be 2.6 mill.
I would also say that Kerfoot always finding himself on the 4th line is a little bit misleading. He was literally in the top 6 for a few games before the Leafs brought in O'Reilly, and has spent the vast majority of his time in Toronto in our top 9. 2 of Acciari, Kampf, Engvall, Jarnkrok, or Kerfoot were going to end up on the 4th line... They are probably just putting Kerfoot there to start because he is the best suited to drive the line and be a playmaker, and they don't want it to just be a grit line or a line that has no offensive driver. Otherwise, he is a better fit for the 3rd line than Jarnkrok.
So you are saying he doesn’t make bonehead plays in the playoffs?Nice attempt at humour, but well off the mark.

Even if the drop off is 2.6mil. Dubas can use that 2.6mil on another player. For example: Holl makes 2mil, you add that 2.6mil, that’s a 4.6mil for Dubas to look for a Dman.
Point is that Kerfoot is someone who just doesn’t fit the Leafs and he is expandable for a better fit for the Leafs.
Name them all. I can come up with one. So has every other player, who has played in the playoffs. So you are saying he doesn’t make bonehead plays in the playoffs?
You mean Kane, right, lol.I for one can't wait to see a supersized Kerfoot in the playoffs.

So, if it's one play.. it's not plays... it's a singular play. The year after being the Leafs second leading scorer in the playoffs. If you are going on about this, due to one play... LOL
It was more than ONE play.I for one can't wait to see a supersized Kerfoot in the playoffs.

That is questionable. He may be able to keep it if he maintains his US residency.Bertuzzi cannot enter the US if he gets traded to a Canadian team because he loses his US work Visa.
People need to understand this.
You don't get it, do you?You mean Kane, right, lol.
This is the guy I'd love to grab.Wonder if the leafs could get Tanner Jeannot outta Nashville, he’d create a lot of space and chaos in the playoffs. Having an off year and only making 800,000
I get it that I should stop now bc this conversation is going nowhere. But pretty sure you will reply since you seem like someone who just want to get the last word in.You don't get it, do you?
f*** no ... don't even lolMarincin still available?![]()
If they want Kane they'll probably get him considering the NMCLarry Brooks saying NYR still in the Kane hunt.
Ottawa has now traded a 2nd, a 3rd, a 4th and a 7th for absolutely nothing so they can move out salary. lol
Smart asset management by a team that will miss the playoffs again this year.
If the Rangers get Kane, going to be hard to beat them.If they want Kane they'll probably get him considering the NMC

I don’t particularly want Kane the guy is a POS.The leafs are not going after Kane, and mr cab puncher is not interested in coming here.
Sorry for those I’m likely to offend.
I don’t particularly want Kane the guy is a POS.
But he definitely hasn’t said he isn’t interested in coming here and the Leafs definitely have space for him with double retention.
I was severely turned off by Kane and Teows both during the Kyle Beach fiasco. For that reason, I'm out. Not saying I was ever in, but I'm willingly out.
