It's at the draft where I think he'll be dealt for a 1st round pick, decent prospect, NHL ready 2nd/3rd line sub-25 yrs old player.

It's a shame though, he's really our only piece "on the block" that has much value.

It'd be nice to unload dead weight like Pyatt, Bickel, and Gilroy for a draft pick if possible.

Want a rental near the deadline? How about Mats Zuccarello. This team really has the right players here, I really think they do. Torts just needs to wake up already.

just an idea. i know that the Ducks wont do that trade... those are the type of players Sather should look into 23-26 year old players. i dont know what Oilers were thinking in dealing Cogs. he is turning into a solid 3rd liner with speed.. Cogs would be a better option than Boyle at the 3rd line

Don't get me wrong, I'd love Cogliano on this team. Perfect infusion of talent and speed into the bottom 6. I just don't know what reasonable offer to put together.

One of the problems with the team is there are very few at the bottom half of the line up capable of moving up.

Boyle is best suited as a 4th liner and would never challenge for 2nd line duty .

Helpern ,Powe, Asham are all only capable of playing on the 4th line with no up side, they are not going to push anyone for ice time.

Last year we had Dubi, Ass, Feds, Prust, and Mitchell to move around and challenge the top player.

That is why adding a Stalberg ,Bozak along with our young guns makes sense along with adding depth on the D that one day could be more than a 6-7 DMan

You can slam Torts all you want but these guys do not offer much flexibility to his line up.

yea i know.. his value is higher then when he was on the Oilers. i wish Sather tried for him.. rangers need that type of player.. the bottom lines here suck.. no hands...

My thought is that, as usual, you make no effort to take the other team's needs or desires into consideration. Vancouver desperately needs a center. No chance they move Kesler.

i dealt Richards in a deal for Bobby Ryan and dealt Eminger Gilroy 1ST 2017 2ED 2017 to Blues For Backes 6th 7th 2013. heck i got a first round pick for Stu Bickel from the LA Kings also dealt Gaborik for Landeskog McLeod and dealt Boyle and Zuccarello to Hawks for Shaw and 1st, 3rd 4th 5th 6th. i got bigger younger and size that can play at the forward position. i wish the real Rangers had that

Just stop already. Voynov is a non-starter and Williams is the glue that holds the top line together, LA doesn't need Gaborik, he'd be terrible here and Sutter would tear him to shreds.
