Anything else with that? Might as well throw in wingers as well Brucey, just to make sure you have all your bases coveredBruce reporting in his article that we could look to add a D, Centre and a Goalie…
He and DJ are fighting to keep their jobs. You know damn well they aren’t going to sit on their hands unless they are categorically told no by the board.Queue Pierre swinging for the fences whilst comfortably out of a playoff spot because he knows this is the last year he will be in charge of this team
Has Dorion gone insane

Chychrun once again makes the most sense. Essentially same cap hit as Zaitsev, was playing very well before the "trade-related" sitting, and by all reports, a guy who'd welcome coming to Ottawa.
Saw an insider tweet today that the asking price is a 1st + a prospect who's the equivalent of a 1st.
So we're probably looking at something like a conditional 2023 1st (if the Sens miss the playoffs this year it becomes a 2024 1st) + Kleven. There are rumors that Arizona is also willing to retain... so you could get Chychrun at a $3.75-4M cap hit, which makes it much easier to fit Debrincat in.
I really like Kleven but it's something I'd definitely consider.
No he's just looking out for #1.
Sens may be a major longshot to make the playoffs but if he makes acquisitions at the deadline and they somehow manage to do it maybe he saves his job and his buddy DJ's too.
Nah if that were happening they would have taken on Zaitsev in the deal.
Dumba is far more likely. Maybe Roy/Walker.
That's not really a given. They may have had no interest in taking on Zaitsev and his upcoming bonus payment in a Chychrun deal. They love taking on inflated cap hits, but not actual salary they have to pay out. Stingy owners in Arizona.
Perhaps we could Arizona Boucher (first round pick), JBD (who also was a first round pick), and Thomson (also a first round pick). That makes 3 first round picks.Chychrun once again makes the most sense. I suspect the Board of Execs who are managing the Senators now have their own interests to consider when the new owner takes over. How can they explain their actions to allow Dorion to make trades.Anything else with that? Might as well throw in wingers as well Brucey, just to make sure you have all your bases covered

When discussing the hold up on a Chychrun deal, Friedman/Marek recently made some comments about Arizona not wanting to take any money back in the deal. Apparently that's making it very complicated to get anything done. That's not really a given. They may have had no interest in taking on Zaitsev and his upcoming bonus payment in a Chychrun deal.
