Coming off surgery to remove bone spurs on ankle and wrist surgery as well. Likely he will miss 15 games to start the season I'm guessing.

Dreger stated the same on TSN1050 this morning talking about how Dorion wants to upgrade and they don't want to have done all this work to improve the forwards but leave the defense as is. Seems like the players probably wanted that as well

Don't think he's lazy, he's just a one trick pony. That's how he was utilized at WJC as he's got his shot going for him, but that's pretty much it.

Jarventie played well on Saturday night. He battled and made some nice plays with the puck. He is still so young, let's see how his game improves this season but I expect he will score a bunch and get a call-up at some point.

I would do option B, but I doubt that Arizona would take that

Now when I think about it (and due to the fact that JC is injured), they will likely wait for at least few more weeks, push it until the very end before they trade him.

Got a bit of clarity on Friday’s buzz.

As far as I’ve been told, legitimate trade offers were on the table for Chychrun on Friday, whereas everything else before was mostly kicking tires, or balking at Arizona’s ask.

Beyond that, can’t speculate as to the pieces.

Yeah if we had offered Greig and a 1st it would be done. We’ve clearly not offered them what they want.

That would be a great deal for us IMO. The only difficulty is fitting Chychrun in cap-wise with our RFAs next year.
