What has he called?

I'd love for him to be right. 5 x 5 for Zub would be great.
Forsberg extension
Yesterday, during the day he said Murray 25% retain for a second or 50% retain for third. He was close
Today, he said Talbot for Gus + pick So close
Couple of other stuff, don’t remember exactly

We may not like the Stone trade, but damn, here we go again with Gaudreau. Imagine losing a player of that caliber for absolutely nothing.

What a massive blunder.

Tough situation for Calgary. Their best player was coming up on free agency in a year where he was dominant and they were great. They thought they had a chance at the Cup so they went for it. Even tougher because it seems like they thought they had a legit chance to re-sign him.

Absolutely tough, but now it’s also sounding like Matthew won’t extend either if Gaudreau is gone….

What a mess.

Malkin back with the Pens. Might one say that Marino trade rumours are intensifying?

They still have 4.2M in cap space to re-sign Kapanen and a depth forward.

Don't really need the cap space. I think they'll keep him.

I still think Malkin is going to return to Pittsburgh. One side is going to blink first and they'll get it done. Seems like both sides are just being stubborn, when they see the grass isn't greener on the other side they'll get it done.

And I think it's Hextall that is going to give him his 4th year. But one way or another, if Malkin leaves they'll have to replace him, so they are going to spend anyways. Marino isn't out of the cards yet imo

Yup, that's why bridge deal are dangerous, and why it was so critical that we locked up Brady long term.

That Talbot trade, man oh man.

I do expect more, but if Dorion stopped right now (and signed the RFAs), it would be a whopping success of an offseason. He has checked off multiple boxes for making this team more competitive going immediately and going forward.

I understand that he's been money but he said we were trading Murray to Edmonton.

I still have a hard time thinking we are getting Giroux and a top 4 RD. I'd rather just the dman if I had to pick.

Martian has said that the Rangers rumours are legitimate, but unlikely to happen. By the sounds of it he does want to go to a contender, but the wife wants to go to Ottawa and the Sens can give way more money. Seems like Ottawa is still the front runner.

I wonder if Dorian was willing to go with Murray and Gustavsson, but heard Giroux wanted to make sure we could be contenders during his contract. Maybe going for Talbot is trying to convince Giroux.
