As a friendly Florida fan, I kind of wonder if a theee way is possible. Florida wants JC due to hometown and playing on the side we need, Ottawa wants Weegar for the same reason.

Good two way defenseman. Great character guy. Some of the best ES production on the ice despite no PP time. Filled in so well for Ekblad when he was injured.

tends to have brain farts and suffered this playoff from the complacency that the team generally had. We had something like the fifth most wins in NHL history.

one of the awkward things is that he plays better as a RhD but we need him as a LhD.

if you want to get his personality, listen to the most recent Missin Curfew episode with him: he owned up to his f*** ups like a man.

he is willing to use the body and averages two hits a game but he is no Dion Phaneif. He is willing to fight as well but he isnt a good fighter (Acciari killed him back in the day)

As I mentioned in another thread the Panthers don't have the cap space to offer him anything substantial.

Well its like everything in life. Gotta spend money to make money and if you invest in something and take care of it most of the time you’ll get money.

Also, when you build something and show people you want to win, chances are you’ll attract more people.

I am just starting to wonder on Chychrun. It was always speculated that the Coyotes were going to aks for a high price to acquire him, as is their right. But no one has ponied up yet. Yes I know he got hurt just before the trade deadline, but still nothing has happened.

I wonder if they are not getting the price they want and may have to accept a little less. It seems last week at the draft would have been the time to maximize his value for a team looking to build for the future.

Perhaps the Sens can get him without giving up Greig, Pinto or an unprotected 2023 1st.

Just speculating.

There is no way anyone is giving up an unprotected 1st in 2023 unless it’s at the deadline and even then I doubt it. There are 3 franchise forwards at the top with Benson, Ritchie, Carlsson and Dvorak’s a great platform year away from knocking on the door.

Id assume its to get one for Sanderson

Chabot Zub was a dominant first pair that got broken up because the rest of our d was trash

That's my top pair moving forward

I think they want a guy who can produce beside Sanderson
