Well aware it may be an overpayment. But, our window with all these high end pieces is limited and I am willing to go all in for a thing we have never seen in Ottawa, and this would do it.

All it takes is one or two injuries or a bad match-up and all those assets are gone for nothing.

Not to mention, I would only go all in once we have a track record for making the playoffs with the core that we have.

Trading Brown and Murray affords you Giroux and a top 4 Dman. I get wanting to keep Brown this year, but it depends what they do with the money.

Maybe I am projecting, but I don't think the org is comfortable going into next year with Goose/Sogaard as our 2/3.

I would be happy with Ceci but, believe it or not... his value is a lot higher than Brown's right now, I think.

Pulj + 2nd would be fine value, I like Puljuarvi, but not sure where he fits. Not sure he's a DJ type player .Smith fills a clear need.
