If we dont deal him where he is willing to sign longterm the return is greatly diminished

Does he play guitar and sing?Nashville
Vancouver was apparently open to dealing Boeser for not much at all. He's played himself out of a huge raise, but even if he wants more, we get 2 years of 50-60points at $6.5 million isn't a bad deal. Garland feels a bit overpaid, but he can play throughout the line up and if we send Joseph the other way, I'd be fine with him coming back. Would be a solid hockey trade. How 'bout a deal with Vancouver.
Debrincat and Joseph for Boeser and Garland ;
Boeser has 3 years left at 6.65
Garland has 4 years left at 4.95
Possibly a little more money (11.6) than extending Debrincat at 8+ and Joseph's 2.95 (10.95) but it would give us a scoring forward to play in the top 6 and Garland would give the 3rd line a big boost. Beavillier (4.15) may be an option as well
I don't know if Vancouver does this but there have been some rumors over this past year about both these players being available.
Not a chance lol?
Are you referring to the Hockey Canada scandal and possible Giroux decline? You guys need to realize we may get into a situation very soon where we have legit one top 6 winger.

He's willing to sign but can't come to terms on a contract here is a possible scenario.IF DeBrincat doesn't want to sign long term here, despite loving his teammates and knowing the team is going to be good, why would he want to sign long term in Vancouver?
Assen na yo!

Either way, getting serviceable top-six wingers isn't that hard if you have cap space.
Of course Drake stays if Cat wants outAre you referring to the Hockey Canada scandal and possible Giroux decline?

Brady and Drake are still top 6 imo
Which is why I'm confused by the notion that we might be down to one top-six winger. The only reason Drake would be gone would be something to do with the scandal.Of course Drake stays if Cat wants out

Thats why I dont understand the “down to one top 6 Winger” commentUh, I don't think anyone thinks Brady isn't top-6?
Giroux retirement. Are you referring to the Hockey Canada scandal and possible Giroux decline?

Giroux most likely has another couple years of 60+ point seasons.Giroux retirement.
B. It’s relatively easy! Not easy. Is it easier than acquiring a top d man or too center yes. But it’s not easy. We acquired a top 5 goal scoring winger lol. And he scored 27 goals while missing chances and were talking about trading him ASAP. It’s not easy to acquire one lol. We can’t even acquire one and actually like him.

And what happened to Drake? Why would he go if Cat leaves?
I guess...but the odds of Giroux retiring, Cat walking, Batherson being part of the scandal, doing nothing with 18 mil in cap space, and no prospect developing into a top 6 winger all happening are not very high. Not worth really worrying about at the moment.Hockey Canada speculation
I think we like Cat more than he likes us imo lolGiroux retirement.

I wonder how much he'd ask for on a two year deal. His cap hit is $5 million, but salary is $4 million. Two years at $4million aav seems like a number he'd probably wantWould be a great stop gap on a 2 year contract.
Can be buddies with Zub too
Imo only the detroit deal even seems close to fair...
I would not be ok trading DBC for a 3rd liner and a mid-late first... Trenin has never eclipsed 25 points... and Comtois has only broken 20 points once, 3 years ago... Rees was an interesting prospect at the draft, but now he's 22 and got outscored in the AHL by Maxime Lajoie...
I don't think Detroit wants to deal either of Rasmussen or Soderblom lol.
The odds of giroux retiring are 100%. Batherson of course question mark but you need to have a good feeling for that before making a decision on dbc. We don’t have many prospects set for top 6 or top line duty.I guess...but the odds of Giroux retiring, Cat walking, Batherson being part of the scandal, doing nothing with 18 mil in cap space, and no prospect developing into a top 6 winger all happening are not very high. OG line???I'm all on board Stutzle with DeBrincat and reuniting the OG top line.
People will say stutzle needs Brady. But stutzle needs to keep elevating to where he can play between anyone and it be a great line.Brady - Norris - Bath?
