If this Lucic to Edmonton rumor is true I might murder someone tonight.
No way in hell they trade lucic

He would improve our 3rd line. That's what we should be trying to buy him as.. not the to 6 asking price sharks want. But regardless he won't help our scoring problems
I wasn't expecting that no, but I was saying from the beginning that trading Iginla is a lose-lose situation for the Flames. Honestly, unless he requested a trade (which let's be honest, he'd never do), they should have just kept him.

If he goes anywhere but the Rangers I'll be one angry son of a *****.
Show me some "3rd line" players that have averaged 54 points/season over the last 4 seasons please.
Why? That team needs a rebuild in the worst possible way. They weren't winning anything, with or without Iginla. It's best to move on.

I dunno, if he heads out West it immediately makes the Bruins easier to play against
Why would the Bruins ever trade Lucic to the Rangers???
Pipe dreams at their finest

That's a good point. From that POV I totally agree. But If it's for Whitney + MPS + 1st like the rumor is saying, Sather better get on that. I'd give anything for him.
I know it's probably BS but still.
Watch his games this year, He's far from that player anymore
Callahan?Show me some "3rd line" players that have averaged 54 points/season over the last 4 seasons please.
I've watched plenty of Sharks games this year and the guy is clearly playing through injuries to try and help his team. Like Gaborik in the playoffs last year, I'm not going to criticize a guy for playing through it to try and help his team. I've done it for my teams and I know how hard it can be.
Clowe, healthy, is a top six forward if you're paying attention.
What do you think the Rangers should trade for Clowe?
so you would give up a 1st and top prospect for a guy who's battling injuries, not as good as he once was, and a rental?
LOL, Lucic would bring in alot more than that.
if I'm giving up a top prospect + 1st rounder, I want Jagr in return.
Callahan?

Already said previously, Boyle and a 2nd. Maybe another prospect.
That being said, if I'm San Jose, there's no way I make that deal. They are right to be looking for a 1st+. The guy is 29 years old.
