If its genuine shock. It may be someone like Rick Nash/Stepan. Cally/Staal are just recovering from injuries, so its unlikely them imo.

The Rangers can't afford flu shots for it's players? Shameful.
 
Nieto allows the Rangers to move Hagelin for a legit top 6 forward. Nieto and Hagelin are the same player.

Looking at the Rangers roster and the number of unsigned players/players up for contract and the calendar.

Management needs to start the reconstruction process.

Other teams will look to make moves with the Olympic break and trading deadline not that far away.

i wish but i doubt Sather trades Nash.. he would have to admit that trade was a disaster and he cant do that.. :sarcasm:

If Nieto and Hagelin are the same player why are we trading for Nieto?

I don't think management will be doing that. Wishful thinking.

Yea Nash can't carry all the scoring as the only top 3 player on the team after a concussion. ..

Nieto is younger and cheaper. Not as fast as Hagelin but a puck hound and an excellent forechecker like Hagelin. Still, I disagree with moving Hagelin unless the Rangers get overpayment in return.
 
Don't like dealing Hagelin. Even if Nieto can become the same player, it will take time and you never know if he can be the same type of player you can move around the lineup. Also, Hagelin who missed games, is tied for the team lead in goals after his shortie from last night. He just signed his deal as well.

At this point, I do not see a trade until we see where McIlrath is. Could Allen playing well counter that? Sure, as well as Stralman being hurt, I don't see being able to trade a D without one returning. DZ for Wiercoch? Ottawa would have to add something to the deal. Is SJ willing to trade Demers and Nieto for DZ? Feel we would have to add something there. Barrie for Colorado? Can we get one of their forwards too? McGinn?

I don't know if at this moment MDZ holds that kind of value. It would be selling low.

i dont like this deal at all especially giving up Hagelin.. now if it was Del Zotto and Boyle id think about it.. but still Sens have to add
 
More NY RangerJackets garbage.

Albeit Methot wasn't the problem in CBJ, but all things considering, including the addition of Arniel, WTF is Sathers problem with turning over our lunchpail Rangers into the country club Jackets.

The CBJ's of yester year ARE NOT the Edm Oilers of the late 80's, early 90's.

Talk about lazy GM'ing.

ugh I will seriously snap if Hagelin is dealt. I hear good things on Greening but not sure what Stone brings. im scared:laugh:
