Laughably false.

2006
Anisimov -2/3

2007
Cherepanov - 1/2
Hagelin - 2

2008
Stepan - 1/2

2009
Kreider - 1/2

Jury is still out 2010-present, but to just make up things to fit your agenda is disingenuous.

Anisimov and Hagelin are 3s, how the hell can you include Cherepanov? You can't post an argument on what could have been, he could have been a Daigle or Stefan just as easily, Stepan I'm not a fan of, he's a 2, definitely not a 1, he's plateaued as has DZ, Stepan has good IQ and vision but his skating is poor, he's weak on the puck, and his shot is soft, I'm happy with Kreider's game but I want to see it over a full season

Yes that's why we're such a juggernaut out there. Who posted the stat? We've had one draftee score 60 points in a season over the past 20 years? But there's a catch somewhere

You're the one who said Clark was overrated because Miller was the only potential top-six forward we've drafted, then changed it to "in the system". Now you're bringing up years he wasn't even part of this organization. You're right. Totally valid point.

You're the one who made the statement that Gordie hadn't drafted a single forward outside Miller with Top-6 potential. I refuted that with some pretty clear evidence. You were wrong. Get over it.

I'm not even a Gordie fan, just setting the record straight. The guy has done a decent job since taking over. Our farm system was atrocious when he took over, and he's been trying to build from the D out and get NHLers every draft. If he's not able to snag some high-end talent in the next few drafts now that our depth is finally decent, then I would can him. However, I think he's been ok up to this point. Good, not great, and definitely not terrible.

Excuse me the initial point was who we have developing at the present time, I'm busy fighting multiple people on here and failed to include that part and as far as before Clarke I was replying to another poster who included 2006, and Clarke represents a microcosm of this organization. But hey everybody keep telling yourselves everything's alright I'm just gonna stop posting and watch it all burn down and toast my marshmallows

I'm wrong? It's an opinion forum. You can post stuff all you want, the fact of the matter is currently there's nobody developing in juniors, college, Ahl, overseas, planet mars, that will help this team score goals in the future. And I'm not buying the whole we don't draft high enough, plenty of teams find top line talent in later rounds

I don't think I've ever seen someone run around in so many circles just to avoid saying they were wrong.

Someone on the Sens board said that a NY radio guy said this "Del Zotto + Brassard for Smith, Gryba, Puempel and a 3rd round pick."

Brassard for Smith is a wash value wise, so it basically mean DZ for Gryba, Puempel, and a 3rd.

I'm not saying it's preposterous, but that's not the trade the Rangers should be making right now. The Rangers get less skilled when they need more and no offense, is horrible value for Del Zotto.

Now you're hiding behind "having an opinion?"

No. You don't get off that easy. You made a statement. That statement was that Gordie hasn't drafted a Top-6er outside of Miller. As other posters have also pointed out, you were wrong. By any measurable standard, you were wrong.

Stop trying to move the goal posts from your original statement, it's embarrassing.

Look you have your opinion and I have mine, leave it at that. I'm so fed up with the ******** on here that if it wasn't for Rangerboy's posts I'd stop visiting here. And now he's being attacked for expressing his opinion.

Then why can't we score goals? Why do we always have to sign big ticket free agents or trade for a hired gun? Riddle me that. It's because we do not draft them

That Conor Allen recall is out of the blue. There might be more than just smoke here.

Downgrade from MDZ and Brassard just so we can add a mid-round pick and a mediocre prospect. Makes no sense, which means it makes total sense for the Rangers.

The Rangers should just take that trade for Del Zotto. The longer they wait, the less they are going to get for him. He plays bad every night. Its not like his trade value is going to all of a sudden rise. Just take your medicine and get rid of him for the best that you can get right now. You aren't going to get anything better down the road.

I'm not going to let you move the goal posts, not matter how much you squirm. That's not the statement you made.

And, for the record, our Top-6, while it could use a true sniper, is not our biggest problem. We get almost nothing out of our Bottom-6. Other teams, like Boston, actually get a positive contribution out of their 3rd and 4th lines. We get nothing. Fix that first.

Youre wrong. Who is our next top 6 forward or top 4 dman in the system? If our depth is so good, how come we suck? Our drafts have been OK but nothing special and to way the have been anything more than Ok is bull

Sadly I agree with you, I'm not sad that we agree on something I'm sad because it would be typical Rangers

We barely get anything out of any line
