again Corvo left cause of the pressure of the fans and media that is well known

he asked for a trade to get out

And it's because of this you think Kane would be worse off in Ottawa?

I don't see the connection at all.

let me make it more clear for you.

Kane has a personality. Ottawa fans and media don't like colourful personalities. We rather have a team full of Alfie and Fishers who do everything right on and off the ice and are quiet. Players like Kane and Subban I don't think would be so easily accepted here

If you don't get it then i guess we just agree to disagree.

Yup definitely.

Subban, Kane, Emery, Simmonds, oduya and ward just to name a few colourful personalities.

I understand the point you're trying to make just not the reasons behind it.

In some cases (Redden, Emery, Mcgratton, Corvo) I think you're using revisionist history that suggests they were traded, left unsigned or "run out of town" by fans or media. I wanted to clarify those situations in case any one was misled to believe any of those players left or were traded for illegimate reasons related to their personalities.

Our current team is full of young and "colourful" personalities already and there's no real reason to believe Kane wouldn't fit in with our current core.

Frankly, I think you may be struggling with personal issues towards Kane that wouldn't be shared by the majority of Ottawa and the fan base. They've been very accepting of people as new players coming in with bad reputations such as Heatley, Turris, etc. and would be welcoming of a young player who wants to win and score goals?

Mike Fisher.

There is the guy we really miss.

I was wondering who was affiliated with the Senators aside from Yashin you had any use for and didn't seem to detest.

So you think the loss of Mike Fisher has finally struck now several years after he left.

Interesting.

What...I don't like Yashin.

I never liked the Fisher trade. Ask yourself what the team is missing and it's everything that Mike Fisher brought to the table.

Well, we're not doing "just fine" now.

Fisher's hard nosed style, and 50 points would be pretty nice to have right about now.

Yup.

He was the clear "next in line" for Alfie's "C". Sucks he could never wear it here in Ottawa. He'd look great on our 3rd line, but I guess we wouldn't be able to pay him top-6 money for a bottom-6 role anyways, so it's a moot point.
