I have an idea. Sit Spezza and Karlsson for a game or two. We will lose and probably be terrible, but it might just wake the team up. I have no idea. Try anything at this point. Juggling around the line combinations has done nothing.

Honestly I really like the conachar smith zbad line. Maybe increase their minutes and slide spezza michalek greening into a third line role in terms of how much es ice time they get.

Hopefully spezza seeing lesser competition and less ice time will get him going.

Karlsson is just not sitting. Sorry but just an awful idea.

First of all, he's still working out the kinks in his game. Can't do that from the press box.

Second, there is literally no one that can replace him. No one bring anything close to what he does. With Spezza there is Turris and Zibanejad.

Third, Karlsson is just ****ed up. In a good way. He's not playing well, but he's so ****ing good it's jaw dropping. How does he even exist? How does a person like that even come to exist? His skills are just off the charts and no human being can touch him.

So no, no you don't sit him.

Does he have a sister? I need to get some of those genes into my offspring.

All he does is produce, be physical, give the team a spark, despite being bounced up and down the lineup, from C to LW to RW, etc. No other player goes through as much **** as he does.

The kid's a hockey player, has great skills and deserves more minutes playing his best position.

Zibby has been playing awesome but I dont think he gets shat on much on thos board. Seems well liked and even on the teade boarsa is valued pretty high.

Now if maclean starts valuing him highly as well that'd be great.

Yeah that's what I meant, MacLean doesn't value him and jerks him around more than any other player.

zibby gets a ton of credit he is learning the game so yes he will move around it is what young players do. he will be inconsistant like any young player and his icetime will change accordingly

I think this team needs a move for move's sake. Something to show the fans they are aware of the problem and they are trying to make things better. Otherwise, why should fans pay money for games where they are going to experience a lackluster effort from half the team and coaching staff?

And who doesn't get that on these boards ? There are more people on these boards that continually dump on our own players that I find it hard to believe they are fans of the team. Zibanejad is a young player and being a young player on this team right now means you always have to play good or your ... Is glued to the bench. MacLean is just trying to make Zib reach his full potential and not become just another player, he has way to much promise to be just another guy. I don't really agree with Staches message to the young guys this year but he feels differently, it's not a case of not valuing the kid.

Wish Melnyk would just get the ***** out. He is crippling our beloved team. Unless we get a new owner/partner/casino, say goodbye to Bobby Ryan, Jason Spezza, Methot etc in 2 years. Ridiculous.
