We will have the same results and he will be canned by mid November

His system doesn't have a shelf life, which has been proven time and time again. Each of his past 3 teams (Tampa/SC Bern/Ott) followed the exact same pattern of over achieving in the 1st year on the back of "the system", and then imploding completely in year 2 on the back of "the system" when teams figure it out and playing it makes everyone on the team hate hockey.

He is a very, very smart man and hockey mind. Very smart. He also seems to be very strong headed, for better or for worse.

The thing that will drive me nuts -- and I mean absolutely, off the charts bonkers -- is if I see our d-men chipping it off the glass or hoisting it out of our zone when they have plenty of time and space to make a reasonable breakout pass. SO conservative, and it is effectively a giveaway every time we do it. You just can't compete in the NHL in 2018 if you do that.

To me that was the biggest thing we did last year that we HADN'T done in 2016/2017.

It's pretty incredible that in 2018 someone thinks that basically giving the puck to the other team and then trying to get it back would be a good strategy considering the speed and talent in the game but that's Guy Boucher hockey for you.

Arizona has no money. They're interested in players that have a high cap hit but don't get paid a lot since they can use that to get to the cap floor without spending the money.

Teams that could be interested in Ryan are either teams that have similar contracts and would like a change of scenery (Lucic, etc) or teams that have a lot of cap space and money that could take him in return of us giving them a top prospect, for example NYR.

They are having trouble signing Nurse . Draisaitl and Nurse for Karlsson would work for me. Alternatively RNH, Nurse, 2019 1st and a 2020 2nd.

It was at one point said by someone on twitter, can't remember who, but it was never something that was confirmed. Much like when it came out that Karlsson wasn't willing to sign with a Canadian team and that was immediately turned down by Karlsson himself.

I found this .. it's speculation though. I am not sure why he wouldn't go there. Play with McDavid. I think EK will want to take his time in deciding where he will sign outside a couple of destinations. But .. get him a taste there and make the condition if he signs BIG.
