Where was it reported Vegas wouldn’t give us Suzuki? Do you mean Cody Glass?
I think it was Cody Glass and a Suzuki

Do we have a source on Edmonton being on his nogo list

We have zero cap issues. By the time Ryan becomes an issue his contract will be expired, just ride it out and wait for the kids to mature.
VGK weren't willing to move Suzuki for Karlsson, not without an extension, it would be huge if Karlsson would negotiate an extension with another team but 0% chance of that happening.
Maybe he only wants to sign with one team...So.....why won't Erik negotiate an extension with anyone?
He’s now the president and was sitting at our draft table, I don’t recall at least the draft table stuff happening during murray’s TenureThe one bright side to this is that Melnyk isn't exactly a guy who is careful with his words, the truth or knowing what the eff is going on in general. I'd be much more concerned if it was a guy like Bryan Murray saying these things on behalf of the team.
wow, Bobby Ryan's goal this year is to play in the top 6 - is it really this bad?
Not if the team we are trading Karlsson to has to take him as well!
Buddy....Have you not been paying attention?
Trading Ryan has nothing to do with the cap, it's all about Melnyk saving some cash. Hell, that's been the entire raison d'être of the Senators these last few years.
Euge is perfectly willing to lower EK's return just so he can get rid of Ryan's hefty contract.
It doesn't, we are up shit creek without a paddle, and we are being spoon fed lies and anything that will make people think we are doing something productive. How does the Hoffman trade fit into the rebuild?
Alex Chiasson is on a PTO so will make about 900K this year if he sticks - Chiasson had 9 goals last year in 61 games, Bobby Ryan had 11 goals in 62 games.
Last year Chiasson had 12 goals in 81 games, Ryan had 13 in 62.
I'd say these guys are comparable, both big and slow and soft, only difference is Ryan made $15 million USD and Chiasson made $1.8million USD in the last 2 years - no wonder no ones want Ryan when you can have Chiasson for 900k
Man, come on if you think they are comparable you struggle to evaluate hockey talent. Also being incredibly selective with your sample sizes. Did you watch the sens run two years ago?
sample size examples and you are talking about a 15 game run Ryan went on 2 years ago, c'mon.
It's just to point out that if you want a soft, large RW you can just pay Chiasson to play that roll and it doesn't have to cost you $7.5 million
His pinky has been mangled so the poster you quoted has a pointRyan has more skill in his pinky than Chiasson does in his entire body. Ryan has 505 NHL points Chiasson has has 124. Ryan can actually make players miss and has elite skill.

Ryan’s overpaid. We all know. But don’t start putting these two in the same bucket lmao.sample size examples and you are talking about a 15 game run Ryan went on 2 years ago, c'mon.

Who do you think scores more goals this year? I'll take Chiasson. We should revisit this in 82 games. Is there a way to tag this post?
Kind of ballsy, Chiasson's best ever year is tied with Ryan's 2nd worst, both of Ryan's seasons were in 20 less gamesWho do you think scores more goals this year? I'll take Chiasson. We should revisit this in 82 games. Is there a way to tag this post?
