I highly doubt every report coming out now is part of some grand scheme being orchestrated by the man behind the red, white and blue curtain. It's what happens every time a high profile individual breaks a rumor.

Classic line! I really like it, and I agree. it doesn't all have to be choreography. Kyper could very easily have pickup up the phone and dug around once he found the story was bubbling.

But I wasnt expecting Kypreos to tweet 3 seconds after I posted the story would continue to have legs! LOL
It just happened. But as far as how the NYR & TB orchestrate it, they could put out their blurbs of info elsewhere. They all have the favorite venues. Sure, everyone's going to be in on it now, and id expect mostly denials all around until it breaks for good.

But even that Kypreos thing, you have to ask; how was he privy to that info onm the trade request? He claims 'other clubs' not so sure now,etc. Fine. Did they tell him MSL requested a trade?

Cause as I was in the process of pointing out, Brooks had just targeted that 'time frame' in his story which was released this afternoon, but nothing more. Howver, it jibbed with what everyone thought here last night. So that's a fresh morsel from Kyper.
Good for him. But I dont presume he got it from behind the curtain haha... I really dont know... I just find it amusing watching the wheels go round.. cause I do think its done.

Nash for MSL would be one of the dumbest trades in our history (and that says something). Nash is signed for a longer term then MSL and is younger. Next year could be the year MSL finally slows down. We also lose size. I would be so ****ing livid.

Of course, as I was mentioning to someone else earlier in the thread, you never know what comes up last minute - especially when there's a freeze on and other teams get wind of the rumor. The deal can be "done," but then someone else comes in out of nowhere and blows one of the participants away with another offer. "Um, Glen - yeah, this is Stevie. Listen, I know I said we had a deal, but, well, Bryan Murray just called and offered me Karlsson. Hahaha. Yeah, I don't know what he's smoking either. But you understand, I gotta take that deal. I'd touched on this last night; and not to Hail Almighty Boomer; but I dont think he ever gets this if it isnt in the bag (he said he believed as much), meaning it's on file with the league already, or I should say once it's been filed, but until the gate is lifted it can't officially be entered into the books.

Not only do GMs not cross each other like that, but I just dont see the Rangers doing that to one of their personalities.
All that, his very careful tweeting, which naturally does help promote his show, that comes with it. Why not play it up for all its worth? it's all in-house stuff to them at MSG.

But Id maintain there's NO WAY they let this out, knowing Boomer will proclaim it will shock the world, with two popular, well-respected players involved.
That's kinda the deciding factor for me.

They probably wouldn't do either for Nash without MSL. People have no idea how to value prospects. Hedman is one of the better D-men in the league now and Drouin may be the best prospect not in the NHL.
