Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Dagoon, hope your feeling better man. Its curious they have Nash available when they possibly are losing Callahan and Girardi this offseason.
Any idea on teams interested? It would be interesting if they moved Nash. Seems odd but he hasn't been that consistent dominating force they thought they were getting.

Absolutely, I think it is crucial to his job to maintain that tempered expectation attitude and only report on things that are 100% done deals as far as he can confirm. Boomer doesn't need to maintain that for his job/fandom necessarily.

So... exactly who is coming back that would be an upgrade over our most dynamic forward?
Offensively, Callahan is the one who's out of place in terms of offensive production and line they appear on.

I don't think the guy is St. Louis. Tampa is surging. St. Louis has a NMC. Could very well be him, but I don't think so.
I do however think it may be Nicklas Backstrom. Just a gut. Doesn't agree with what Boomer said about the returning player's contract length (he said it was short, NB's is pretty long) but he's a player that makes sense to me that the Rangers would target. 1c for the future.

Two things just cause Id mentioned parsing language.
Brooks story pinpoints a time frame ("Glen Sather has inquired about St. Louis on and off since St. Louis was originally passed over for Team Canada") right where many here last night speculated this all started, at least this year.
and that was MSL possibly demanding a trade after Yzerman didnt back him up for team Canada selection.
Was it just coincidence Sather started calling just then? LOL

Other thing is, Brooks says 'no deal pending". Well, no, maybe not right this second haha. or maybe because its already done.
The whole point of giving Brooks ANY info is to get it out in Monday morning's papers. Id expect to see a different source push this further along sometime tomorrow, and its all over by Tuesday.

No offense dude but you have to be more open minded. Many people disagree with you on the importance of the Olympics. I agree that it's silly to ask for a trade because of it, but not because the Olympics are unimportant.
