Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. MSL makes a lot of sense (for us) though I don't know why TB would do that. Sure hes 38 but he also is older, a lot better than Callahan, would instantly be our best forward, and can always be traded at the deadline next year for those prospects instead of Cally if we wanted to go that route.

I agree that neither make sense for the Rangers. That's why I'd be pissed.
However, based on the information contained in the tweets and the posts we've read, they seem to be likely candidates.

well you have nothing to worry about, even at 38 years old Callahan would never get MSL.
Something happened with Marchand early in the year; i know I read or watched a report or two that suggested he could be had in the right deal; man, I cant take looking at that guy every night for the next IDK how many years;
and I really dont respect how he plays the game;

Does not at all fit the upgrade or possible first liner though. The only first liners I can think of, not on the teams he said no to, that we don't like are Ovechkin and maybe Eric Staal (since he caused the concussion to Marc) but neither of those make any sense at all. Maybe we don't like JVR since he's a former flyer but again, that's something that doesn't make sense.
id love Marchand. Rangers can use that attitude at times. maybe a guy like Burrows......

i didn't read it like that at all...he was asked specifically if he likes ott and he said like carcillo he would like him if he was a ranger...
the thing that I most read into that is that everyone that thinks it would be a 'player we hate like carcillo' has completely misunderstood what he said and that is not at all what he was implying would be in return in a trade

Not alone, I would throw a ****ing fiesta if we got Marchand. Why in God's name would Boston trade him though? Marchand is like a modern Claude Lemieux.

1. MSL makes no sense to me at all, from a Tampa Bay perspective even less so.
2. No way Clarkson is a second liner with more offensive upside. The guy scores most of his goals on the PP in front of the net. Doesn't fit AV's system 5 V 5....Only thing he has more of is grit, not Clarkson, guaranteed.
Still think Philly makes the most sense, Simmonds or possibly Hartnell. No way he could disclose the team, even if someone asked the right question..
