If I offered you $20 today or $10 worth of Lottery Tickets, would you take the Lottery Tickets on the off chance that you would make more then $20 and possibly even hit the jackpot?
Wait, what's this crap about Miller?
Boomer is sticking to his guns and thinks MSL will be a Ranger by 3:00.
Wait, what's this crap about Miller?
TB wants a young prospect with Callahan for St. Louis. Posters are hoping it's not Miller. Some posters (like myself) believe Miller is overrated on these boards.
if i had a dollar for every time I've heard that on these boards
Not a good analogy.
A better one would be:
If you offered $20 today + death tomorrow, or $10 worth of lottery tickets..."

So in 5 hours the Rangers will either give Callahan a long term extension or trade him for a guy who is 38?
And if we all had a dollar for each time the Rangera brain trust lied to us about being a contender...
Not every prospect makes it. You keep the ones with the highest probability. Thats what successful franchises do.
Sather is growing older and doesn't have the best health. Not sure there's much time left for him as our GM.
Trading for MSL is likely his last stand. Sad and misguided as it could end up being.
Remember Shanahan's stint here? He was really good for his first season. He proceeded to completely fall apart rapidly and then retired. He was roughly the same age as St. Louis.
At that age its risky and guys can rapidly fall apart.
Why is it death tomorrow? Do you really think one of these prospects we have is the savior of the franchise?
Is there not going to be an NHL Draft in 2015, 2016, or 2017? Or are there going to be no more young players to be had after this year?
Shipping out a handful of young parts for a 38 year old and a dilusional shot in the dark to win a Cup this year will result in crippling this organization's future for years.
Half hour until practice. Will Callahan be out there? Will Boyle be out there?

This will be a WOAT deadline
Boyle?
You think Sather even had Boyle's situation on his radar? LOL.
