I actually think the longer this plays out the more likely it is he is traded.

Still calling Sather's bluff. They're standing firm. If he signs, it will definitely be Sather folding. I wonder if his ego can take that.

In 2011-12, Kesler didn't play well because of his shoulder. AV came out and said that the injury wasn't the reason for his poor play, and his agent was all like: "NUH-UH, HE WAS REALLY INJURED GUISE".

Injuries can be bad, even if you don't miss the games. I'm sure you can remember Gaborik's shoulder injury late the same year.

He's still not "injury prone" if he's considered that, wtf is Ryan Callahan considered? made of glass?

If vanek goes then Cally, cammeleri will so. After assuming he wants too much. The nyr gets a guy like hemsky sadly

Gaborik's shot was never the same after that Armstrong hit. So much of the velocity (and less so accuracy) evaporated.

Edit: And then a year later in the playoffs, the torn labrum. The guys shoulder is shot from those two injuries.

I am interested to see if St. Louis will be a scratch tonight ...
I doubt it. Even if a trade was likely:

1. Tampa Bay is in a playoff race
2. St. Louis is their most important player
3. St. Louis has missed 7 games in the last 11 seasons. Injury risk just isn't there.

With the lack of grit on this team, with rumors of Kyle Clifford being available earlier in the year, I wonder if a deal can be made.

He plays injured all the time. He has a broken hand now and is still playing. Broke his hand early in the Olympics and is still playing.

Guy is tough as nails.
