Yea, I dont know what this means.

I do know that your theory about Callahan not using his body has been torpedoed.

Let me get the averages out for you.

2009-2010: 77gp, 285h, 81bks. On avg: 3.70h a game and 1.05bks a game.
2010-2011: 60 gp, 224h, 77bks. On avg: 3.73h a game and 1.28bks a game.
2011-2012: 76gp, 271h, 88bks. On avg: 3.57h a game and 1.16bks a game.
2012-2013: 45gp, 154h, 66 bks. On avg: 3.42h a game and 1.47bks a game.

2013-2014:45gp, 132h, 47bks. On avg: 2.93h a game and 1.04bks a game.

That's the lowest he's had in his career on both. He's hitting less, blocking shots less.

Leading by example? Change in system definitely decreases those totals. But he's also doing less of what made him get the captaincy on his own.

Serious question: outside of the Nash deal, which was a unique case played out over a year due to the fact that the player was pushing it, when was the last time a Rangers trade was rumored more than 90 seconds before it was official? Seems to me Slats always takes us by surprise.

My buddy just told me he heard the Rangers were trying to work a deal with Edmonton for Yakupov. He said Callahan + Miller and some other parts involved.

He has 15% credibility so don't hold your breath, but this is a speculation thread, so there you go.

Callahan would never resign up there. Thats basically Miller for Yakupov.

Like to see

Stralman & Cally to Ana

Vatanen + to NYR

nope. salary cap. i like the way you're thinking though. that's why i was suggesting

hagelin and stralman for vatanen and a cap dump (souray?)

and

callahan for nieto and a pick

Schrödinger's cat.

Until the silence is broken, Callahan may, or may not be re-signing :)

(I hate myself right now for using something I learned falling asleep [because it puts me to sleep] to reruns of The Big Bang Theory in real life.)

I learned it from Scooby Doo.

Be still, my beating heart

Good point. The Rangers are incredibly tight lipped about players unless they need to use the media as leverage.
